So this is "DA PLAN"
We Go north with EVERYONE who is in good shape , bash away the few formations my opponent has in the north and go and take Moskau from the North/West.
There are 3 Reasons why this COULD work
1.
The Soviet Player put nearly all his Reserves on the Smolensk/Kiev Areas, given my Halt in turn 3 he has left the north with next to no reinforcements , and now we come knocking with all the 3/4 of the Panzers and 2/3 of the Wehrmacht.
2.
Our Railroads are fairly well built by the AI , it just forgot the to connect the built up system to Germany by 2 tiles, this could solve most of our Problems within a few Turns
3.
Its mad man plan , nobody would expect that. Also if we take Pskov,Talin (20) Leningrad (36) and Moskau (even for just one Turn) we would be over the Sudden Death point value.
Therefore this is real Life Hitler ording Operation taihon lul

Also i was already able to cut off 6 Rifle Divisions in this turn , and about to cut off 15-20 More of them.
I am thus fairly Confident that this Game is not yet lost and that we will give the Russian Northern Force a beat Down all the way to Leningrad

So this is the Little Plan
hold Kiev with Dark Green Group , use Yellow Group to go south and take the two VP towns and use Light Green Group to take Odessa (50k Soviet Troops locked up there)

Your path from Moscow to Leningrad is basically over the best stretch of defensive terrain in the game. Attacking through swamps and heavy woods will doom your efforts, and no breakthrough will really be able to achieve operational freedom because the MP cost of the terrain is too high.
It appears you're not using your manually controlled rail repair units. They should be, under your direction, repairing several rail hexes a turn to connect the major cities in your supply network. The AI will deploy smaller construction support units each turn to try and fill in, but these won't advance more than a hex a week from existing lines.
edit: Baltics look better overall because uncontested terrain in the Baltics that flips has a 70% chance to do so with rail intact.
Playing first as the Soviets you can learn other game aspects for the first 20 turns without having to worry about rail repair.

I have to agree regarding that Moscow plan. Moscow is much better approached from the South. Putting pressure on it from multiple axes is ideal if you can, but the southern approach is much easier.

I have to agree regarding that Moscow plan. Moscow is much better approached from the South. Putting pressure on it from multiple axes is ideal if you can, but the southern approach is much easier.
Approaching from the South brings up another whole slew of situations that may not always be advantageous for Germany. Best is to catch the Soviets weak somewhere on the line and exploit it

Minsk should have been connected on T2/3 with dual lines running both West and SW, your railheads by T10 should be Vyazma-Orsha and around Gomel.
I'd hate to see how many unit trucks you are shedding to try and keep your front line supplied.

Your path from Moscow to Leningrad is basically over the best stretch of defensive terrain in the game. Attacking through swamps and heavy woods will doom your efforts, and no breakthrough will really be able to achieve operational freedom because the MP cost of the terrain is too high.

The terrain from Pskov to Leningrad will cost 4 tutns -even with no resistance. I doubt your Pzrs have MP at 40 or more?.
In 1941 you can't supply in the regions you have marked out, even if your supply net was robust. Your mobility will drop as the terrain worsens, a few ZoCs and your Pzrs will cover only a few hexes a turn.
Finally, the key to surviving the winter is a good supply net that you can use to refit weakened units.

Defeatist !
Every obstacle can be overcome by faith in your own ability’s, the Russian army is beaten and broken, the only enemy for the German army is its own supply consumption!
This plan will bring victory to the Reich, all doubts must be cast aside.
(I know that this plan is most likely to fail but I don’t see a better one and I don’t to give up the game after 10 turns 😅)
