Now i get this, see the picture.
..
But witptracker STARTS, but i've got to receive another turn to see if it really works.[:D]
This is not working properly ... do you have the right pwsdll.dll in the tracker folder ?

Delete all the trackerdb.* files, check you have the right dll and reinitialise..
See the picture is here a problem?
Also i dont get the "signit" and i'm playing the 1942 campaign.
What to choose no map or map? What must i choose and change and load it?
Image
This looks good... you won't get the sigint/alerts for the first load ...

Yep, as long as you change both batch files to look for the java.exe ;-)

No problems mate ...

You know, I have no idea how feasible this is...

But would it be possible to add some way to delete turns from Tracker? There comes a point when it just takes way too long to load, and you just don't need every turn from 5 months ago, but would still like to have some kind of long term record, especially as Japan for resource and supply levels. For example, my Scen 2 IJN game is on turn 260, with nearly every turn from 75 loaded in (so ~200 turns). The DB is huge, and java.exe eats up almost 700MB of RAM while it's running.

It would be great to be able to remove 90% of the turns (all but the 1st/15th of each month, for example) manually, without having to delete the entire DB and start fresh.

Mate should i delete about 30 turns with sign combat report and so on?
It's placed in the save folder, this one has to be removed?
I've got about 100 turns.
If it is i shall removed them.
Please let me know, thanx.

I keep a separate folder for this purpose. I only load the 1st and 15th day of each month so that over time I can see the long term trend. My main tracker file can be reset every 100 or so turns once it starts to get too long to load.

Yeah, I've thought of this work-around, but I haven't actually done it yet. I guess I will, though it means keeping two trackers for one game which seems a bit silly. I was just wondering if this was a potential future feature, because it would be extremely useful.

Looking at this thread today.

tm.asp?m=3187886&mpage=3

I wonder if Tracker could have a different kind of "Aircraft Comparison" than one vs one airframe. I would like to be able to pull up all the Japanese fighter, as an example (all airframes, but be able to sort like you can on the Production). Then, have columns with model, upgrade path, engine type, speed (both cruise and max),armament (centerline and wing separate), bomb load, service rating, availability date, maneuver bands, and climb rate. It would help players make decisions on what airframes to focus their R&D on and give me a quick way to look at the characteristic that are important.

Two requests

Is there anyway to list the torpedo ordanance carried by air HQs and also could you create a filter to just show one particular type of HQ. I.e. air HQs, Corps etc.

I've been considering overhauling the airproduction with another screen for planning, but that might take some time. Anyway, let me think about it Michael.

First request is already factored into my working new build (with Floyd's consent into the public release), the second is up to Floyd as he's the LCU man.

I wanted to be able to do this. My solution is every 150 turns or so to stick the old DB files in an archive and start tracker again with three or four old saves. I archive them so that I can aways reload the old files if I need to but so far I have not and probably never will.

One of these days I'll find the time to implement my idea to make the startup much quicker. Until then...
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

The second request was a little difficult, given the controls currently being used in this panel. So I went with an alternate approach. If you select "HQ" and sort the type column, it groups them together.
