I created 2 new main features for Panzer Corps:
1. Animated Generals in briefing scnearios
2. Animated Unitcars

Now I search a way to insert ingane start Scenario videos.
Also possible would be animated units on map - maybee some turret looping moves for the tanks and moving Infantry.

By the way, it would be nice to make a penal battalions (new unit for the Red Army).
This was the main striking force of the Red Army. They were used to break the strong defensive lines.

Looking at these I can only guess that the next step will be to make the units in the info cards fire their guns. And maybe when you`ll see the bullets coming out of the barrel, going forward and then stopping in midair before going back into the barrel of the gun (like the exhaust smoke does in the examples from above) you`ll realize that it doesn`t look good overall. Besides, cumulatively, all these animated cards will probably consume more resources than is good for the game. In the past, there were problems reported with the memory because of excessive number of customized unit sounds. In my opinion you`d be better off replacing the units that are still vanilla, instead of putting the effort into redoing the style of the ui cards yet again.

Just to clarify: the graphics that are posted in this thread are not meant for the community here, at the Matrix forums?

In the past, there were problems reported with the memory because of excessive number of customized unit sounds. Now we have BIG MAP, A LOT new anime PNG file for near 1000 units @@ i fear the game engine will be lag, but can try cos it nice. For fighting vehicles, i love to see it fire than moving [:D]

This is bad news
It is a pity if this is true. R-35 has done a fantastic job. I hope that he will come back with time. But in any case, thanks to him!

I feel sorry for that the R-35 stopped work on the mod. I think that many guys like to play vanilla scenarios. And this decision is very great misfortune for them.

Needs some days.

Brazenman and H.Balck
I repeat my question
You wrote earlier that will soon be ready all new soviet units in R35 engine
Do I understand correctly that we can forget about it?

Guys and girls
I've long since how not to play vanilla
It's not interesting for me
Forgive me, but I'm tired of being a mediator in this matter

I think that R-35 is a very kind and sympathetic guy, and sooner or later he still post out new update for vanilla.

Is there interest in an update that would make the mod compatible with the latest Panzer Corps patch?

As many of you may know, the latest PzC expansion is enabled by a patch (v1.25) which adds the new factions (Finland and Japan) and several units, among other things. The mod contains several units and other features that have different IDs in the newest PzC patch. This would result in conflicts if you install the mod after the v1.25 patch and try to play the official content. If I find time to implement this for my own use I may consider releasing it if people want that.

The proposed update would only contain the text files and will have several graphical limitations. H.Balck has not covered all the units that have been introduced with v1.25 and even those graphics that he released recently would not be included because he has already announced that he restricts their use to his personal projects. So for example, the Finnish Ski infantry will look just like the regular Finnish Infantry and so on.
I've long since how not to play vanilla
The mod simply changes the unit graphics and adds more entries for new units. Weather you use it to play the PzC vanilla content or something else is entirely up to you. Niki`s Allied General and Panzer General campaigns that are available at Slitherine, among other mods, are fully compatible with it. I`ve used the mod to play my custom made scenarios for example. Nobody stops you to make new scenarios to suit your taste. At the same time, the fact that we lack the content necessary for the vanilla scenarios (like the graphics for some of the Finnish units or the desert camo for all factions) also means that anyone wanting to make a custom scenario will have troubles depicting such a battle too.

Excellent!
I think that a lot of guys will be happy!
I do not like playing against the AI. But a lot of guys on the contrary prefer to play with the AI. So it will be good news for them.
