Hey guys!
I'd like to ask a favor: So far, I've never seen a human v human game mentioned where manpower ever came into play. It might be interesting to add that as a factor, but I don't have any real game values (as opposed to real historical values - I have those) of how much manpower is being used.

If it's not too much trouble, could you keep track of this for me? It's the manpower consumed & manpower available numbers I'm interested in.
You'll find the info in the Strategic Info Window,Regime Variables, on the lower right hand side.

Whether and how to keep track and let me know of course is up to you.
You could just give the numbers in your post on this forum when you send your turn & I'll keep track of them.
If you don't want anybody knowing those numbers that wouldn't work.
You could send them directly to me at explorer2extra@gmail.com
You could keep track of them yourself and then send them all at once or something later.
Or of course, you may say it's just too much trouble and I certainly understand.

I don't need Chinese numbers, because these should always be set astronomically high.
I won't need SU or West numbers after Jan 1944, because here too they should be set extremely high.

Any help you're able to give is greatly appreciated.

Here's a screenie of the info, just in case.

Yeah, he was an a*hole, not to mention whatsisname in the pacific, who McNamara mentions in Fog of War. Famous name that escapes me, as usual.

I agree, then. Got that turn and sent it to Tom. It's only a few days, I guess.

I'd like to qualify this by saying that it would have been hard to find anyone in the west who disagreed with what Harris and LeMay were doing. Whether that excuses anything or not I don't know, but I think it's true just the same.
Furthermore, Carthage must be destroyed.

Guys-
I'm sorry to report another major error has been found in versions M & N. [:(]

Occupied Cities in SU not producing for GE, partisans not being made in SU.
Workaround: It works correctly in M & N if SU & JA are at war.

Sorry about that. There's over 262 lines of code in the offending event, and just one lousy misplaced end check, in the wrong place, caused it.
My deepest apologies, but again, if JA and SU are in state of war, SU occupation by GE and SU partisans works fine.

Mr explorer, sir, you have no need to apologise to me. This scenario is the most extraordinary piece of work in this line I've ever seen, and it has given me months of fascinating pleasure. A bug here, a bug there... pshaw! I once started to play a WWI scenario in TOAW that didn't include Holland!

Now, are the SU and Japan willing to go to war to rescue the game?
Furthermore, Carthage must be destroyed.

Totally agree with Casus_Belli. This is a great scenario. So thanks for that. [:)]

And if there are any bugs, we will deal with it.

By the way: Why is it a bug that Russian cities do not produce for Germany? Of course they should not. Ha, that are my cities. So, Casus, care for your own production. No Russian citizen will work for you [:-]

As far as I know Japan has to declare war this turn or they will loose all occupied territory of China and Manchuria. And Russia is ready for war. So, come on, we are waiting for you, capitalists.

Hm,... it just comes to my mind, that we are playing version K, right?

.... (confused now) ...
