Well, not easy to attack with bad weather, the aircraft are not so good and my enemy is in good position.

I cleaned the pocket and take some hexes, other few soviet unit destroyed at least.
We are facing the 5th Tank Army, bad weather really hurt in this situation because my CAS are useless.

I repaired the bridge and gain some ground, given the counter density I think almost all his units are close to the frontlines.
Another few enemy units destroyed.

T3 South

Post by Blind Sniper »

First time that I see a penalty on Krupp's units, maybe C&C penalty finally appears [:D]

The terrain is difficult for me, the progress is slow.

Again slow advance and rest turn for my panzer division.
13th Romanian division has been sent in the South to watch the coastline, I don't want a enemy invasion behind my lines.

Very interesting to read you. I did not think about replacements or even to change my officers. I will apply that to my game on my very next turn [:D]
your stike on the soviet airfields give you the supremacy in the air but your tank losses are very high ! the 11th panzer must have lost around 80 of them, how do you explain the lost of the others ?
About the 11th...the two rgts have been attack from three or four hexes ? it was not an attack from one tank corps of the 5th soviet army, was it ? I have seen that a panzer rgt alone can be force to retreat by the soviet infantery. I will do some testing...our panzers can be a target...[:@]
The rain has come to early for you. I see how I have been lucky in my game with Keunert.

Lot of air and artillery attack I think, CAS are very deadly.

Krupp usually defendes with stack in two lines, when I break the first he can reforme another line for the next turn therefore is not possible for me create a big pocket.
Moreover I think he gets few C&C penalty given that always move away his units.

In this way we are fighting an attrition war that is good for you, interesting game [:)]

Post by Blind Sniper »

Sorry for lacking updates guys but with a baby, work, wife and so on I had have some problems [:D]
Surely I cannot post every turn as before but I will try to do my best.

Backt to the war!

My opponent land a very large force in Crimea cutting my supply lines and isolating the whole 11th Army, and this is no good at all [:-]

Anyhow I made a big mistake leaving my ports ungarrisoned and I'm paying for that.
Said that I think my opponent land too much units, I didn't know it was possible to move all these units in a so little time, moreover I think he is using all his fighters to cover the invasion and I'm not able to destroy his trasports (it is very difficult anyway, CAS units are not effective as it should be, imho).

I'm sending a lot of units (mostly Allied) to regain what I lost in the previous turns, it seems that my opponent is having supply problem too given that the last combats have been very bad for him.

We will soon know is land so many units has been a good idea or not, because some other map sectors will be uncovered for sure.

Here it seems that front is almost collapsed, I'm still receiving some defeat but his units are less every turn.
Three hexes to the city, I don't know if he has some secret reinforcement.

Anyhow this is the first time that my opponent made a general retreat (but units around Rostow), usually he fight for every inch but in some sectors he is having troubles.
