RE: New Units for PC
Thank you for the new units!
@Brazenman if the unit depicted was in the service of the Mongolian People's Republic then I might as well add Mongolia as a separate faction in game. We get more flag diversity and it`s not too much work.
Btw, could we please get the bigunits renders for the Cossack cavalry and the german version of the same unit? They`re missing currently.
About the terrain. I`ve tried adding new terrain types and have not been able to. The topics at the Slitherine also seem to suggest it is currently hardcoded. Maybe things will change when the next expansion is released, but for now even if you make new things like rice paddies and orchards they`d just be new images for the same existing terrain types. I can`t assemble a new LayerTerrain myself. I`ve tried editing one and with my software/pc it was a real pain to move anything around. It took forever to load in the large file. Maybe someone else can take a try at this, but my recommendation would be to wait for the next release first and see what - if anything - new it adds in terms of the terrain setup. Maybe it will allow more freedom of action.

Guys, the author need your help!!!
question for R-35 and others:
With the new patch 1.24 its now possible to use different camo styles for all theatres - do we need not also winter camo for all german and soviet units ? I can produce them very fast.
So its now possible to see also different UC for different theatres ???

That would be great!
I just thought that adding a new faction is a problem.

I know that Karaganov also wanted to add new types of surface, but that failed. And he was very annoyed because of this.
RE: New Units for PC
Yes, adding new theatres is possible. I was aware of that thread and have already implemented a pacific theatre for the mod. I could of course add a theatre for winter too if people want to.
and then I`ll implement as many winter camouflaged German and Soviet units as you can make.
Having individually done winter camouflage for their units would make the mod really cool looking, but let`s be honest, it will take alot of time and work. Most German and British units don`t yet have a desert version for example. Tell you what though: finish Japan, finish Romania and add those 6 Bulgarian units!do we need not also winter camo for all german and soviet units ? I can produce them very fast.

Sorry, for my bad school english...
RE: New Units for PC
H.Balck actually posted a while back a Spanish infantryman from the civil war period if I remember correctly. Funny that the original game added the two Spanish factions but no units and scenarios for them. Anyway, my point was actually that we should complete some of the ongoing chapters before starting more.ORIGINAL: Kessy

There are also two rocket launchers units (20cm and 40cm) but I`m not sure they fit the PzC engine given the short range. Could add them later if people want to. Also there are 120mm and 150mm Krupp guns from 1905, but they were obsolete by this time and I`m not sure it`s worth the effort to include them now.
Anti-tank:
Type 1 37 mm Anti-Tank Gun
- The Type 1 37 mm AT Gun was basically a Type 94 37 mm AT gun with a slightly longer gun barrel. So it`s just a small edit of the previous unit.

RE: New Units for PC
First of all I have to say that the new Romanian R-1 tankette is a work of art. Can`t believe how nice it looks and you`ve even added the historical roundel and Saint George figure. Great unit!
Secondly, if you redo the grey Romanian 105mm Schneider please add rubber bands to its wooden wheels. It was mainly towed by trucks:
http://www.worldwar2.ro/arme/?article=310
http://www.worldwar2.ro/foto/?id=82§ion=6&article=36
At the bottom of page 93 you can find another image:
http://www.revista.forter.ro/_wsn/01_bi ... magini.pdf
(ignore the picture in the middle of the page; those wide rubber tyres probably date from after the war)
Also, I might as well note it now. If you have the time to make a Romanian HW infantry (for the motorized units) please see if you can find a machine gun that looks like the Czechoslovak ZB 53 model 1937:
http://www.worldwar2.ro/arme/?language=en&article=389
The other option would be the antique 8mm Schwartzlose model 1907/12:
http://www.worldwar2.ro/arme/?article=285
@Brazenman
That`s all I got too. Unfortunately the first three units only have the info cards and the last one only has the battle card. That`s why I haven`t implemented them yet. If H.Balck provides the missing files I`ll include them too

It seems that I rejoiced too early
RE: New Units for PC
The units have obviously been done so it`s just a matter of waiting for the remaining renders to be released. We`ll get there...ORIGINAL: Brazenman

Edit: btw, about the discussion on the slitherine forums about the theatre implementation. It doesn`t affect in any way what we want to achieve for the winter camouflage. It just means we`ll have to be more creative (labor intensive

RE: New Units for PC
Guys
it's great that you have decided to continue working. I am very glad!
I hope to see many more new units. All your units are just super!

RE: New Units for PC
H.Balck is making the nice graphics. The rest of us just try to get them in game.
I`ve added one more gun to the list of Japanese artillery above.
Type 92 10 cm Cannon
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_92_10_cm_Cannon
http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/Japan/I ... hb-223.jpg
I think it`s important and, in any case, it looks outstanding with that long gun.
The extra range will also make it very useful.
@Brazenman in African scenarios, do you see the bigunits/info cards of the desert units in game or are they the ones of the regular/european version?

I do not know, I can not start the official campaign, because I installed the scenario Karaganov. But I will check it on another computer, and I will write you tomorrow.
