The French raid Munich but the rain waters down the beer and dampens their ardour.
Or could it be because the French are out of wine and have to drink beer instead? [;)]

Don't suggest things like that. The French out of wine? Sacre bleu! It brings shivers to my spine .

Naval Search (cont)

The Italian aircraft in the North Sea search for enemy warships but the rain hampers the search and the Royal Navy remains undetected.

Strategic Bombing

The Italians have obviously had three weetabix today as they continue to feel extremely aggressive. A bomber unit is employed over Lille.

However, whilst the Italian armed forces maybe feeling firm and fruity, their military prowess remains limp and disappointing (a 3 is thrown)

Sadly it takes more than 3 weetabix to get the Italians in gear...

15 and 16-inch shells of Rodney, Nelson, Valiant and Royal Oak crash onto the Dutch coast in an effort to upset German plans. Rotterdam is turned into the graveyard for many soldiers of the 132nd Infantry Regiment that were holding the extreme right wing of the Germany Army.

The Luftwaffe try and soften up the defenders using every available operational bomber - but the Germans will need to get lucky to with the fractional roll to improve on a 3:2.

The attack kicked off with von Kuchler's panzers of the 5th, 6th and 7th Divisions. The British defenders of 2nd Division, south of the great port, were deployed to meet them with 4th, 5th and 6th Brigades holding the extreme right flank of the British forces.

The battle would be won or lost here....

Do the British want Assault or Blitz?

The fractional odds fall in the Allies favour. Despite the best efforts of General Erwin Rommel, in the van of the attack, the 7th Schutzen Regiment meet a wall of steel in the form of the 2nd Royal Norfolks and the 1st Royal Scots. With the infantry held up, the German tanks that had raced ahead were exposed. A timely attack from the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment saw Rommel's panzer forces retreat. The Germans would need to try again....

Which unit takes the loss?

I had to see CW force pool before choosing loss, but it is not that easy decision.

After some thinking I choose London MIL. I hope AllenK agrees. I'm confident that CW will pick London MIL from 6 possible MILs next turn [;)]
