Not that I know of, I just found it in my game.
OK, It's to late for the current build but once the next beta is released it should be fixed. Thanks for this....GP

Hi Guys,
First off, thanks for the continued work on the game, much appreciated.

Repost from Tech Section:
Playing Vs AI, 1127 Beta, Win10, getting Crash to Desktop.

All great up until Turn 93, did normal moves, crash to desktop during Naval Movement (I think).
Loaded my manual save from before I made any moves for that turn, did a few minimal moves, same result.
Loaded last auto-save made no moves, seemed to get past Naval move but crashed during day combat.

* Quick Update, went back 2 auto saves, ran turn, all good (although Warspite took two torps), ran next turn Crash again.

Are you interested in looking into this? If so please let me know what you need.

Thanks

David

It looks to me like the NZ town of Waiouru is inland and yet it has a button to expand the port. How is this possible. Scenario bug?

As I've just done a clean install to play 1127 for the first time, I can also confirm the Waiouru inland location with the port build option.

Couple of basic questions. First, what version do you recommend updating from when the next update is released? Second, has Matrix given any timeframe when they will release the next update? Or does it go into the abyss of other busy folks with no deadline given? Thanks to all involved on the effort to make this game fantastic.

If it's anything like the last patch updating from a fresh install of the game will probably do. They're usually comprehensive updates. The beta2 file set went to Matrix for testing weeks ago. No updates as of yet. I think the earliest we'll find out is when they actually release it.

v1127 Public Beta Available

Post by Reg »

Hi,
I just installed the latest v1127 from the matrix site and noticed a discrepancy with the credits window on a big screen.

It appears the close button is placed relative to the bottom edge rather the top left corner of the fixed size credits window. It is not an obvious button at the best of times. This will require a coding fix to put it back on/near the credits window.

Not a biggie but for your info....

Hey Reg, this is not something that will be fixed unfortunately. I'm assuming that you have read the thread on this release. Anyway there's going to be another release coming out soon. Where just waiting on a little more data. Enjoy for now....GP

I've been thinking that michaelm75au might be able to fix this quickly but we will have to see....GP

The American 155mm M1918 GPF does not show up in the stockpiles, it is a Navy gun used by the US as a coast defense artillery piece, it upgrades to the 155mm M1A1.

The 152mm M10 weapon shows up as an American and a Soviet weapon. To my knowledge, the US never used that weapon.

Since this is quite the long running episode of Get a Beta Out There, I would like to request that submarines not be programmed to return to their patrol after returning to base to replenish. This works fine for the AI, but for a serious player a sub should spend time in port to replenish, rest the crew, repair damage etc., which should be under the control of the player. Having to tell each sub to return to base rather than the default return to base, replenish, and return to patrol immediately is quite unhistorical. This would save a great many keystrokes having to reset sub's destination at the end of each patrol to allow for player defined rest, recuperation and being sent on other types of patrols other than the normal go out and sink all the enemy ships you can.

Couldn't you just set your sub patrol to "Auto-Disband" when it gets back to base thus immediately standing the vessel down for rest and repairs?

The B-25C production is supposed to switch to the B-25D1 production in February of 1943 but it did not do so and the factory is still producing the B-25C.

The wrong factory upgraded, this factory upgrade should be the Wirraway II to the Boomerang C-12, the Wirraway III is a divebomber that comes in later. The Wirraway II production should end but it has not ended yet. The game date is 4 February 1943.

Man, I am REALLY hoping they can find a way to make it so you install from the original disk and then apply this upcoming final patch over it - just two steps and that is it. Should eliminate so many posts from folks who get lost in the update weeds.
