How to PBEM

I am a complete Noob (and 39)

I have signed onto the ladders and sent off a couple of challenges to find I have received a challenge.

What now? The e-mail states that you can't reply.

Can someone explain step by step.

Sorry.[:)]

RE: Before I buy.....

<t> Wow,<br/>
Thanks for the responses folks. I have purchased the game having played with PT for a bit and I have to say it's beautiful! I have only had a go at the tutorial and a tanks v infantry training scenario but it is EXACTLY what I was looking for, fast but rewarding. Try a tactic, press ...

RE: Before I buy.....

Just had a go at the PT tutorial.&nbsp; Very good indeed.&nbsp; Takes a while getting used to the transfer and combat combination of buttons.&nbsp; I like the overall feel and look of the game.&nbsp; Can the AT game manage 1400x900 screen resolution?

Before I buy.....

<t> Hello folks,<br/>
<br/>
I'm looking for a fun, easy to play, PBEM IGOUGO type game that a friend and I can play. In the past We have really enjoyed a hex based board game of the D-Day landings (Supply wasn't an issue) It was just get on and fight! We used to enjoy AOE but the units weren't ...

RE: Great Game

<t> I love the CC titles.&nbsp; The gameplay and scale is the nicest I have found in many games.<br/>
Yes I do miss a campaign but surely this can be added in a Mod form?<br/>
Could the graphics not be a little more advanced these days?&nbsp; Not just the units but the menus and so on.<br/>
Is ...

RE: Display Error/Plato MFC error

<t> Aaarrrrghhhhhh!<br/>
probably about 2 hours of my life wasted. Another plato crash whilst in a detailed battle. I have an ATI 9800 radeon pro. Noticed at each attack a small square graphic tries to appear. It looks like an oil painting representation of a charging horse when using cavalry. Can ...

RE: Wish List: Suggestions for a future patch

<t> Folks,<br/>
I'm new to Matrix games but would like to see the following: (I've only just started on the game so be gentle)<br/>
How about in detailed combat mode) the ability to orientate the map to yourself. i.e. view it from your perspective (chess, tabletop battles some other computer ...

<t> Wow,<br/>
never thought I'd provoke such a response!<br/>
Anyhow, I was not slagging IG off and somewhere along the line the purpose of my thread went off tangent. The problem with IG is the lack of any AI in your units. Forgotten cavalry will stand around getting butchered rather than ...

Will this be the game Imperial Glory isn't.

<t> For many years I have been hoping for a game that re creates the table top battles my friend and I used to play. The total war series came closest but there always seems to be a lack of control at the battle stage. I recently purchased Imperial Glory, hoping it would be an improvement on ...

RE: When ?

<t> Yes when, indeed. I've been searching high and low for a controllable Napoleonic wargame that looks good on a PC since not being able to meet up with my pal for tabletop games. When's it coming out. It looks great?<br/>
In the meantime I'll have to make do with Imperial Glory and have units ...
