Wow, first in!

<t> So, I assume we'll be getting more info pretty soon? You know, screenshots, more in depth info on how the game plays, maybe an AAR? I generally don't get too exited untill I see an AAR to really see whats going on under the hood.<br/>

Thanks Smeulders ! [:)] Too late for this game, but I'll know better next time. Only against the AI anyway.[;)]

RE: For god's sake Winston, quit sending me Matilda tanks.

OK, so I guess my question is, how do I get a unit to upgrade to matildas so that I can turn off replacements and then keep them? They show up at the same time as the grants, so all I get is a bunch of units with a few grants and no matildas. I don't see the point of including them.[&:]

How do you change or add a name to a ship? Clicking on the field doesn't do anything, and I can't find a button.[:(]

<t> Andy is right, units do dig in themselves in any hex. My problem is that it takes way too long. Every unit should go to level 1 entrenchment automatically the day after they stop moving. Also, it bothers me that all entrenchment seems to be done by engineers. Everybody digs their own foxhole ...

RE: Turn 38 - 13/01/1942

<t> If AE is the same as WitP then as I remember it you want to do port attacks. Ground attacks will target the unit with the highest AV. Airfield attacks will cause damage to any air base units. Port will damage naval base units and possibly CD units. Could have changed but I can't see why they ...

<t> My biggest bitch with PTs is that mine always attack with 50 calibers first, then they (maybe) think about torps afterward[&:]. Hey, they're friggin torpedo boats! If they're not gonna shoot torps why even show up. Fifty cals are for use against aircraft. I know that I should just get a grip, it ...

RE: Computer Control ASW/Mine missions?

<t> I know that this isn't really the answer that you are looking for, but the general consenses of opinion on this forum seems to be that computer control is not to be used. There are just too many variables for the computer to come up with anything reasonable. Figure out what you need done and ...

<t> Andy, don't take things too much too heart. Like you said, a decision had to be made on which way to go with the AI. Either help it out for more of a challenge, or leave it stupid and ultimately boring. I personnally think that you're doing the right thing here. A direction has been set and that ...

RE: Terrain in hex

<t> Jg is jungle. JR is jungle rough. I was looking at this this morning in china as regards to woods. I think if theres one cap it's one terrain type and if theres two caps it's a combination, like Wd is woods but WR is woods/rough. I don't think it's spelled out in the manual or in the terrain key ...
