Eureka! I found the problem. Disable mouse trails and put the mouse back to normal, default size. Pointer now appears in game.

I am attempting to install Korsun Pocket on a new Vista operating system. As the install sequence tarts I receie the following error message: "elevation error" [that I have not seen before] The install then stops. Any suggestions?

yes, other DVDs, including other Matrix DVDs (Korsun, Normandy) work. The Valor disc looks brand new--no scratches, etc. I hadn't tried it for six months or so but it used to work fine. I'm suspecting something added to my standard operating package but I can't figure out what.

My previously working DVD for Uncommon Valor is now being reported as a format unreadable in Windows. Needles to say, the game does not work. Suggestions?
