RE: remember the original wargame construction set

<t> I had the original WCS and AOR (which I still play using DOSBox). The original had its moments, but may have been a little too ambitious for its day. As for AOR, it is still my all-time favorite computer wargame and if it were ever redone, I would jump on it immediately. I am curious about Tanks ...

RE: AGE OF RIFLES & TANKS ?

<t> Age of Rifles is a masterpiece, a game that got almost everything right. Great scenarios, a solid feel for the era, and an easy-to-use scenario design/edit routine.<br/>

I often check the Matrix Games Forums hoping to see that it has been added to their list of titles to be redone ...

RE: question

<t> The original AOS was one of the very few games I reinstall whenever I get a new computer.&nbsp; It was a good solid simulation of naval warfare in the American Revolution/Napoleonic period (although it's scenario design system left me bewildered).&nbsp; <br/>

RE: What old games should Matrix snap up next

<t> Age of Rifles would be my top pick--and it is nice to see that it is a popular title.<br/>
<br/>
Flight Commander 2 is still on my hard drive, but an updated version would be nice.<br/>

RE: When is Matrix going to admit this game is vaporware?

There seems to be a real chance that Duke Nukem Forever will be released this year--in fact, a sequel is now being planned.

Hopefully Guns of August will be out before the Duke Nukem Forever sequel

RE: Release Date Update Please

<t> I am very interested in seeing this game being released, having played the original way back when (actually, I still have it on my hard drive and it's one of the few old SSI games I have that runs well on XP).<br/>

RE: Frank...David....Eric...Marc...Anybody?

I've been following this forum since -- well, how long has it been up? I am still hopefull the game will be released. Given the scarcity of WWI titles and the quality of Frank's past designs, it should be worth the wait.
