I can install microsoft.net as the program says me to do so. There is mention of DirectX, but no automatic installation. How can I retrieve it as I don't see the MSI file.

Problem

Whenever I hit the play button I get the following message :

TSJC.exe - common language runtime debugging services.
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.


What to do?

Just bought Alexander and during installation it prompts me for a serial number. Where can I find it?
