I did and 2.41 is now working fine, but would rather have 2.30 if 2.42 is not on the way. [;)]

I haven't received a reply yet. Let me know if you are able to obtain a copy of 2.30. I think unless they are releasing a patch very very soon, they should do this or refund. [8|]

I emailed them, no reply as of yet...maybe I will just have to wait for the patch...or return the game, which I really would rather not do. thanks for the help.

didn't work, now game will not start...doesn't recognize the disk...I didn't thinkyou could patch backwards. I may call Matrix and ask for a copy of 2.30...it was a 50 dollar game after all.

Yes, it surprises me a bit too...so I just DL the 2.3 patch, run it and then it should go backwards?

I am not sure if I can patch downward??? It installs as 2.41

reading about bugs with planes. should I download the 2.42b or just leave it
