Axis: Winning the Battle of the Atlantic

<t> The best way to win the Battle of the Atlantic is with airpower using subs as primarily as recon units. CV's don't protect ships in their range from air attacks, So you can focus on kiling all the allied dd's so you subs are free to attack until allied CV ASW tech makes that too risky or you can ...

<r> This is what a good turn 1 looks like, combined with a planned turn 2 invasion of holland. <br/>

On this attempt I didn't move the fighter and 2 inf corps to konigsberg, but moved them to the west. I moved the konigsberg garrison out, because sometimes the ai is lured into attacking it ...

2) the 2 polish corps blocking the direct advance of the south west panzer corps need to be attacked. The first one killed and the second bitchslapped on turn 1 .<br/>

<t> Do you own SC or SC2?<br/>

I've played SC and only played the SC2 demo?<br/>

SC was too dominated by Carriers and airpower. ie you had to gain air supremacy to punch holes in the enemy line. So if you teched up you airpower rapidly, you'd get the experience advantage and then air ...

It took me 2 tries to download it. Were you surfing the internet while downloading? In the past I've had that timeout problem downloading games or patchs and my solution to that problem is not to surf the internet while downloading.

Do Strat bombers have any other role besides strat bombing?

The manual isn't clear if strat bombers have any role in the "air recon", "air strike" or "attack enemy fleet" action button missions.

I'd guess no. If the answer is yes, who's better at naval interdiction, air army's/divisions or strat bombers?
