RE: Spam at the depot?

I got a PM notice as well, but didn't get a message. I guess the forum admins caught it.

RE: The "Mighty Midget" : the LCS

<t> I think "significant" is an understatement. I've made entire landings solely based on the sheer firepower that a number of LCS' can bring to bear. What didn't die was routed. If it couldn't run, it soon died to my tanks and men. <br/>

Of course, in real life they were probably very ...

RE: converting from XP to Vista

Reportedly, some versions of Win7 will include a VM of WinXP, which may (or may not) help with the lack of Vista compatibility.

My recommendation is a small, cheap USB flash drive to back up the installs of everything you download, any purchased MP3's, and so forth.

<r> Because I have no functional artillery screen, and can't remember half the interface right now. <E>:P</E> Seriously, I just forgot to bring up UOSU before playing. I tend to do that unless I specifically am loading a game for screen shots. All of the above AAR was played in one sitting. One LONG ...

RE: Enhanced Download Links

<t> The link from the depot showed as dead for me. I googled and found a 3rd party site hosting all the patches, including 8.403. Now all that's left is remembering all the nuances of the interface (been WAY too long for me), finding a slowdown utility that works and makes my artillery usable, and ...

I had just stomped the French, and was wondering when and if the battle would officially end. I was literally wandering around locating artillery and other rear area units, and organizing the bulk of my forces for no apparent reason, when the game crashed. I don't ...

<t> My second engagement is a success. The Polish troops have again fled, despite significant advantage in manpower.<br/>

This time, my losses were a bit more severe. 135 men won't be going home, and 6 tanks are scrap metal now. Three of those men were in my own HQ staff. I managed to kill ...

RE: Been a long time: Long Campaign, Germans in 1939

<t> After only around 20 minutes, we have some data on the effectiveness of Polish armor. Not very. A small group was able to close to within 50 meters, thanks to smoke obscuring the LOS of the nearest flak and panzer units. They very quickly found themselves wishing they were much farther away from ...

It might be my bro's ex's comp is just too much a POS to run anything regardless of OS. It only has 512mb of Ram, shared vid memory. I have an extra 2gb sitting on my desk, but that's what starting drama gets you in my world; no more freebies from me.&nbsp;
