RE: Insurrection...

<t> I have been concentrating my insurrection efforts on protectorates. Does this also work against "homeland" provinces of any sort (either core territories or conquered territories)?<br/>
<br/>
By the way, I did carry out a successful insurrection in Hanover this turn. So, I have managed to pull ...

RE: Insurrection...

Well, the reports indicated there was an insurrection in Munich and that my diplomat caused it. If he had actually succeeded, would the protectorate status with Bavaria that Britain had be lost too? It is still a British protectorate from what I can tell.

RE: 1792 No frills PBEM

Did anyone see the fact that the French supposedly launched a successful "Insurrection" in Munich a couple of turns back?

What were its effects? Anyone see ANYTHING change?

Insurrection...

<t> Okay. So, I am playing as France in a PBEM, and I have succeeded in launching one of the infamous "insurrections" in the British protectorate of Bavaria's capital of Munich.<br/>
<br/>
So... what happens now? Not much as I can tell. Nothing changed after the announcement that it was successful ...

RE: Supply Depots

<t> Wolf 4, with the first patch out, I can only STRONGLY recommend the investment in CoG:EE. I know a player who did not enjoy CoG for various reasons, and is now a pretty extreme CoG:EE fan. For me, it is the best Napoleonic game I have ever played. And I have played and considered A LOT of games ...

RE: Progress

<t> Because waiting on this every single day would have been too painful, my strategy has been to check out some other games AND WORK TO FORGET THIS ONE until the day it comes out. And the very instant I see it available, I will BUY. No questions asked. I am just amazed at the leap of progress it ...

Patch/Update Question...

When the new patch comes out, can we install this for a PBEM we are currently playing and keep playing it? Or, will we need to restart new PBEMs?

RE: shooting allies

I too second the fact that it was not unknown for such things to occur. In my recent heavy reading on the topic of 18th century warfare, I bumped into more than one reference to it.

By the way, does the tactical game have smoke effects of any kind?

RE: 1792 No frills PBEM

<t> Concerning the Spanish player. I will go with whatever you guys want. However, I would prefer as much continuity as possible. So, I would prefer waiting for the new player. However, I would also love to get another turn through... so... like I said, whatever you guys think.<br/>

RE: 1792 No frills PBEM

I think we need to find a Spanish player who will have interest in continuity rather than going from one player to the next or using Matto again (though Matto's services were greatly appreciated) [&o].

I will have a 100,000 man army next to Paris by the end of next turn. No problems.

Perhaps we could ask Anthropoid to take over Spain until we find someone else? And work hard to make that happen?

I will leave this up to everyone else as to what we do. I will just vote for what the majority votes.<br/>

I AM suffering from CoG:EE withdrawal. And more than many players ...
