RE: SuperBowl Predictions!!!!!

<t> IMHO, 50% of the Bears problem was that Rex couldn't do what was necessary and/or turned the ball over at the worst time (that is if there is ever a good time to turn the ball over) but I would definately have to say that just as important if not the very most import aspect is that the vaunted C...

RE: SuperBowl Predictions!!!!!

AARRGGHH ! ! nmleague beat me to my prediction. Called up the thread and had to walk away from the screen to get the kids some juice. That was the exact score I predicted to my coworkers yesterday.

Yup, Colts 27 - Bears 17

RE: Bears - Colts

<t> I don't know if this will make sense but I think the Colts offense will do a better job of dealing with the Bears defense than the Bears offense will have dealing with the Colts defense. The intangible will be the special teams performance of both teams. The Colts will field suspect coverage tea...

RE: I Feel for L.T.

Hey Tbird, this Colts fan is looking forward to a vu jade thing. You know, something that you have never ever experienced before [:D] That being the Colts winning the one they need to get them to the dance.

RE: NFL playoff thoughts

<t> Boy let me tell you Indy sure is up for this game. Downtown has all the tall buildings leaving certain office lights on at night, blue in color of course, that form the shape of a huge horse shoe. The shorter buildings have changed all their spot/flood lights from traditional white to blue, flag...

RE: NFL playoff thoughts

<t> Hey Shaggyra, I have to disagree with you on the Bears game [:D] I'm sure that I'm going on stupid blind faith here but the New Orleans feel good story is just too sweet for me to go against the Saints. I agree that the Colts could/should beat the Patriots here at home and even if I'm wrong on e...

RE: NFL playoff thoughts

<t> Lucas718, thank you for taking the time to read the link. Even after reading your reply I respect your opinion and appreciate the position that the Baltimore fans were left with. The reason being we (my daughter and I) experienced a similar situation, granted not with the history of the Baltimor...

RE: NFL playoff thoughts

<t> Great White, I really don’t think this is off topic. The thread is NFL playoff thoughts. I talked about my thoughts of the Colts in the playoffs and you replied with a comment of how much you dislike the Colts the most because they moved from Baltimore. Ok, maybe my suggestion to do some researc...

RE: NFL playoff thoughts

<r> Great White, thank you so much for your wonderful private message. Yes I did do my own “research” regarding many of your view points so I’m well aware of your thoughts of team relocation and your distaste of same. I’m also aware of some of your thoughts regarding politicians, government interven...

RE: NFL playoff thoughts

Who so much dislike for the Colts? I can assume that it is because of the "dead of night" so called escape they made leaving Baltimore. It might serve you well to do some research to learn what Baltimore and/or the state of Maryland did to force Mr. Irsay to do what he did the way he did it.

NFL playoff thoughts

<t> Not surprised that the Colts beat the Ravens but I was surprised that the Colts D played so well for the second week in a row. I think I heard less than 150 rushing yards allowed in the playoffs. Now that we have all the D starters back that can come back I believe that we will see the true Colt...

RE: Tired of T.O.

<t> Great White, in a nutshell here is a copy/cut/paste about Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson.<br/> <br/> Selected in the 1st round (18th overall) in 1975 by the Cowboys to play inside linebacker. Earned All-Pro honors for the 1977 season. Henderson was such a good athlete that the Cowboys used him to ...

RE: Tired of T.O.

<t> Yeah Brockleigh, Coach Landry sure punched Hollywood's ticket in nothing flat. But that was back in the day when a coach could do things like that and not have to face the NFLPA complaints.<br/> <br/> There is no denying the fact that both Moss and TO have put up some pretty good numbers and def...

RE: Jeff Garcia's future?

<t> I wouldn't be surprised either way. If he stays it could have the makings of a very interesting QB situation, especially if Culpepper comes back encrusted in rust or his return is delayed. And not to mention how well Garcia continues to play. I would be surprised if a team picks him up that does...

Thank you Marauders for the info. I knew there was some hit but wasn't sure exactly what it was, and to be honest I was getting a bit tired of digging for specific football info - if you know what I mean [8|]

Because of those players named we appreciate the quiet workmanship and professionalism of Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne all the more here in Indy. And both of them are going to the Pro Bowl this year [:D]

RE: Tired of T.O.

<t> I used to watch a ton of basketball and fell out of love for many of the same reasons. The players needing to get their ESPN VCT (valuable camera time) really took so much away from the game as it was supposed to be played plus the refs turning a blind eye to fouls, traveling, palming, etc.<br/>...

RE: Tired of T.O.

<t> I don't think there is time frame where you can cut a player without some cap affect. I do know there is a time frame where the cap hit is reduced but I don't remember when it is and exactly what the % reduction rules are but I believe it affects all years of his contract. I think the only way t...

RE: Tired of T.O.

<t> Brockleigh, I couldn't agree with you more. When my Cowboys signed him I was shocked to say the least. I said to some fellow football friends that as a Cowboy fan I would rather miss the playoffs without him than make the playoffs with him. Being a Cowboy fan I must dislike the Eagles, along wit...

<t> Great White, the editing of your posts - especially after comments have been made - is really bad form [:-] <br/> <br/> To be honest, I am now completely confused as to where you stand. Not only in your understanding on the point of discussion, eligibility of a receiver and associated requiremen...
