Sure you can but don't delete them. What you need to do is compose your music to.ogg files and replace the orignals. I did this using ACE HIGH music converter. I converted some star wars music for my mod and it is much better.

Well from what I can see is that the function routines are there. How you set up the SKIN.def file and how to point to the different skin names just has'nt been released.

Actually it is very easy. Just center the cockpit so that your pilots head would be at 0,0,0. In your ship def file add the lines---cockpit_model and cockpit_scale.

I played with 64,64,64 for the first texture and 128,128,128 for the second. I also only applied the second specular, transparency, translucency. I'll have to check your way and compare.

Yeah, but I was working with X-wing Alliance for years. I helped the community over come lots of limitations. Dogfighting could be tweaked but it will get worked out.

Anyone wishing to join the team should inquire within.

I did'nt get neither. Looks pretty good. Are those glows on the corners or just illumination. It seemed rather large to be illumination.

I thought that word was'nt allowed around here. If I had a de'datter as you call it I would be able to make new terrain and skins for my fighters.

Hmmm.....I wonder where one gets this de'datter from.....

I would assume that it's a greysacale map. That is what I'm using, a solid grey at 128x128x128. I think I read somewhere that it took the the R value and applied it as a height map.

I also set the color box next to specular to grey and emissive to black. When doing this the entire ship was illuminated with some reflective surface ...
