Re: Looking for Allied player 07 beta, scenario 2

Hi Rader, I have played a few games as allies into 44/45 and can probably produce a player or two who will vouch for me :) Let me know if you are interested. Not really interested in a lot of HRs more in a game without exploits and long term commitment. Any differences we can discuss as the game ...

Re: Base requirements for drop tanks on acft

April 13th,1942. p-40e p-39d and p-38e. I guess I answered my own question, the aircraft database shows the p38e not available until May so although this squadron arrived early it wont allow use of drop tanks until May?

Re: Base requirements for drop tanks on acft

A follow on question,

I have a well supplied base with 3 squadrons that can use drop tanks. Why would one of the three have the option showing as unavailable? Thanks, Steve.

Allied Withdrawals

So I understand why a number of Allied units withdraw due to demands in other operational theaters but I don't see why that would apply to Chinese units? Can anyone explain the reasoning behind this? Not complaining just curious :)

RE: B-Mod, Last Update

Hi Brian, it looks like scenario 197 was just updated yesterday. I am just in the process of starting a game with an opponent who is in the middle of Japan turn1. Is there anything critical in the update?

Thanks, Steve.

RE: Question on AKE's

Thanks, I think I get it. One more question the cargo capacity has to be unique to one ship? i.e I cant use two AKE's whose combined capacity exceeds the ream level?

Question on AKE's

Can an AKE provide supply for 16" guns on a battleship? If they can, what is the criteria you have to follow?

Thanks, Steve.

Alfred, many thanks, I wish I could get the forum search to work and then wouldn't need to ask for help but I really appreciate how quickly you responded.

Monsoon Season

Hi, can anyone tell me if the monsoon season has an impact on units, such as movement or combat? haven't been able to find a reference in the manual. Thanks, Steve.

CHS plane switch

<t> I am playing CHS scenario 157 and am island hopping one of my bomber groups to Australia in mid december. On the last turn all but one plane from the 22nd bombardment group (flying B-17E Fortress) made it to Australia, remaining plane still in central pacific. When I got back the new turn from ...

RE: Sporadic problems loading PBEM files

I've seen the same problem in a couple of my games, my theory is that is related to mail server issues since my opponent reports that he can load the turn he sent to me.. I've found that having my opponent zip the files seems to fix the problem.

RE: CHS Base Question

<t> Thanks for the clarification and Andrew thanks for all the work you have put into CHS, it is a marked improvement over stock. One last question, Aden appears to start with 18000 in fuel and 14126 in supplies, what happened to the 100's of thousands of supplies and fuel that the allieas used to ...

CHS Base Question

Just started a new game as Allies and I no longer have a Middle East base. Aden is still there. I looked at CHS site but couldn't find this change. Is this correct? If so what happened to all the supplies that used to be at Middle East location?

Thanks, Steve.
