Can you elaborate on this? I'm also curious. Germany has 4 unused pop on the 1st turn. Do they carry over to turn 2, or will they be lost ...

The turn after that, my pop read 10/4 in Germany, with a huge load of production. But when I started buying units, the pop stat didn't move, so I was able to buy 3 Ftr,3 Stukes,3AA ...

The manual stresses taking out Leningrad on the 1st move,
so Finland gets activated. What's your take on it?

Regarding point 2, would you research evasion or air attack to
strengthen AA effectiveness against aircraft?

I just got the game and I'm much worse off than balto, as I haven't figured out how not to waste pop points.
