RE: Real life stats calculated wrong?

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Well at baseballreference.com they list his career On Base Percentage as .379, Puresim has it at .380. I don't know if Puresim is rounding that off or including playoff stats?

RE: Real life stats calculated wrong?

<t> The Lahman DB doesn't store any calculated stats (slugging, BA, etc.) - it only stores the raw data. PureSim is the one that does the math.<br/>
<br/>
Just looking at the career line, 1826 hits + 332 doubles + 39 triples + 340 homers should come out to be .4755; however, if you calculated ...

RE: 2 questions

<t> An educated guess on the ball flight locations, but here's my take:<br/>

If two numbers appear, it is between those two numbers (78 is Left Center)<br/>

RE: New BETA Patch 1.14

<t> With 1.14 Beta, on the PSPNCast screen where the lineups are shown and color-coded to show the conditions of players, the away team players have the same colors shown as the home team's players, no matter what their condition is (if the #1 hitter on the home team is Fair, the #1 hitter on the ...

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: jacmar<br/>

I agree it is a nice game, and a good simulation, but not realistic. I played out some complete seasons, one being 1955 and 2 for 1919. In the 1919 seasons, which were actually won by the Redlegs and Whitesox, neither team was anywhere near the ...

HTML Almanac

<t> Couple of minor bugs in the HTML almanac:<br/>
<br/>
1) In associations with two leagues, both league champions are highlighted in bold on the Seasons page (instead of just the World Series champ)<br/>
<br/>
2) When the almanac is updated mid-season, on the Stats & Leaders page for the ...

RE: first impressions...

Shaun used to have it set up so you could adjust the amount of playing time players got during the spring. I wouldn't mind seeing that return -- I was probably the only one that bothered to change any of the defaults.
