Heh, wow, ouch, and other comments. Sounds like exciting times all around in 1943. Great write-ups!

RE: Bob Flemin's MWIF AARse IV - Nice AArse

The Germans seem to be marching forward pretty steady, especially as they chew up the RAF over Belgium and France.

RE: Another Solo Global AAR

Ouch, looks like Russia is going down for the count this time. With Turkey in on the Axis side, even US mega-production might not win the day.

RE: Another Solo Global AAR

Definitely interesting times, both east and west. With Russia taking one for the team, and the Wallies ashore in France, I wonder what Italy is looking like? There are a lot of Italian units in Syria and France, for example.

RE: Another Solo Global AAR

Hmmmm...with those poor results from air strikes, it might be worth it for the Allied High Command to rethink their plans.

RE: Another Solo Global AAR

<t> Brest is worth having, for supply, certainly. But its not much good as a springboard for a larger invasion, because it sits on that peninsula, and so is easily 'corked,' away from the rest of France.<br/> <br/> La Rochelle offers a lot more operating room, if you can get ashore in strength, but ...

I agree with Centuur, and hope you do attack. It should be interesting to see what develops from such a unique situation.

RE: Another Solo Global AAR

<t> Very interesting war so far.<br/> <br/> How much strength can the Allies get ashore in Southern France? Do they have enough to land enough troops to credibly hold a solid area against determined German counterattacks which will likely materialize fairly quickly?<br/> <br/> I do understand that i...

RE: Another Solo Global AAR

<t> With all that strength in Morocco and Russia, how strong is the Euro-Axis in France and/or Scandinavia? I'd at least be thinking about aiming at Spain, or somehow cutting off as much of that huge Axis force in Morocco as I could, rather than letting the Axis turn that area into a strategically i...

<t> Thank you for your work on this AAR. It, and others, tempt me to invest in the game, despite my firm resolve not to buy it sans AI.<br/> <br/> Do you feel that the US might get badly overstretched in land and air units, fighting so early, especially with a major land campaign shaping up in Moroc...

Hell on Wheels campaign *Spoilers*

<t> So, just about to play the last scenario of the Hell on Wheels US campaign. Got to say it has been very interesting so far. FCRS is an incredibly fun and interesting game as it stands now, and as it gets more development, it will only get better. <br/> <br/> Having read the threads about the hel...

Earthquakes on Homeworld

<t> Two games in a row now, one Classic, one Shadows, my homeworld has been hit by an earthquake, and had its quality dropped 30 points, maybe more. Once this happens, despite the world quality raising back up to 100, and tax rates being set, the world never again provides revenue. Given that the ho...

RE: Making Lemonade: JocMeister (A) vs. SqzMyLemon (J) BabesLite-B

<t> Are you sure that giving away Christmas Island is what you want to do? I've always found it to be an incredibly useful base as a way station for flying short legged fighters to SoPac from Pearl, not to mention a decent refuelling point for convoys.<br/> <br/> Also, why waste the Dutch air force ...
