RE: PureSim is on a roll / PureSim 2008 brainstorming thread!

<t> I know this probably won't make it high on most people's list, but I must say that having gone back and played DMB last night I am completely in love with pitch-by-pitch mode. The in-game experience is the guts of the game for me and pitch-by-pitch mode adds a whole new dimension of realism and ...

RE: PureSim is on a roll / PureSim 2008 brainstorming thread!

<t> The only things stopping me from making the complete switch to Puresim from OOTP are some of the mechanics missing in this game. Note: These observations come from just playing around with the demo and they could be wrong. <br/>

RE: My Ultimate Features List

<t> Number 5 is huge for me. The only complaints I have with the in-game atmosphere are prominence of ratings over stats and the lack of box score information. RE: Modify Roster Suggestion

<t> Yes, I agree. In general I would like to see a lot more in-game emphasis on statistics. The ratings are a distraction for me. I like getting to "know" players thru their stats, especially in a fictional universe. Mimicking either OOTP or DMB in this regard would make the in-game experience ...

downloaded demo..some questions

<t> First of all, let me say that I am really impressed so far. I'm the type of player that likes to manage every game and move slowly through a season. I like the GM aspect of baseball simulations, but I don't want that part of the game to become a lot of work. Challenging yes, work no. That said ...

RE: Hiding ratings

<t> Let me first say that I am very close to purchasing this game. Although I'd like a eliminate ratings option, I can live with the 1-5 scale. <br/>
<br/>
However, as I was looking at the in-game screen I noticed that the ratings were in very large font. Now, I recognize this is not a major issue ...

Hiding ratings

Shaun, Any chance of giving us the option to shut off ratings. I like to evaluate my players based purely on statistics. It feels more realistic to me.
