Get them to send you the new Timer File - it fixed it for me. It will be part of the coming Update also ...

Did the Edit so it runs in a Windowed Mode - same thing.

I did get it to run finally on my ancient XP laptop...but I hate that old thing

I'm running Conflict of Heros just fine on both systems - never had a problem with any of the 20 or so Matrix games I have bought in the past. Just the kind of luck I've been having lately ...

Just tried it on my new Windows 8 Tablet. It advances one screen past the splash screen to a Welcome Screen with some info about "modes" but won't advance. I can't quite see the whole Welcome Screen either - some of the text is cutoff on the right. My tablet is 1920x1080 also.

I'm running my monitor at 1920x1080 - could this be a problem? It does show me the full splash screen I think - I can see the heavy borders and the Matrix logos in bottom left.

Game installed fine ... I get the Game Menu and select "Play". I get the Heros of Stalingrad splash screen, but the menu where you are supposed to select New Game never comes up. It just sits at that splash screen and plays music.

Any thoughts?
