RE: season-end ties?

Same thing happened to me. I ended in a first-place tie with another team in my division. The game skipped straight ahead with the other team going to the playoffs. I guess it does a coin toss or something.

RE: Ball Flight Question

I should probably rescind my statement about it taking hours to adjust many stadiums ball-flight locations. I adjusted 18 stadiums completely a few days ago in about an hour or maybe a little less.

RE: Can't build almanac anymore.

<t> Woot! My game is working now. To sum up, I am still not sure what caused it. I went back to a system restore point before my uninstall of mcafee and install of Norton. Then I uninstalled Mcafee and reinstalled Norton. Then I reinstalled PS V1.0 and it worked great. I am back in business. One of ...

RE: Can't build almanac anymore.

<t> I have narrowed mine down to a 99 percent chance it was caused by my install of Norton Anti-virus. I did a system restore to the day I installed Norton, and still had the problem. But if I restore to the day previous to installing Norton, the game works just fine. <br/>

RE: Can't build almanac anymore.

<t> Hey thanks for the fast response. You are right about it being something corrupt on my computer. After trying a few things and them not working, I decided to do a System Restore back to Dec 6'th. And then I loaded up puresim and everything worked fine. So something between then and now caused it ...

Can't build almanac anymore.

<t> My game will not build an almanac anymore. My association recently finished a season, and i noticed during the off-season, at the point it would normally build the almanac, it crashed. I reloaded the game and it recovered the association just fine. But when I go to the almanac screen and try to ...

<t> Something I would like added for the next version is the ability to turn off the ratings bars on players cards. Basically the bars that are red for a rating that is "very low", yellow for "average", and green for "very good" in that rating.<br/>

RE: The "In-Season" Aging Model: Who Uses It?

<t> I used it on my first association, which I recently just completed(managing every of my team's games). I could never tell whose ratings may or may not have went up or down though because the ratings change screen only breaks it down by year. And the other screen where it shows what your scouts ...

Pitches per start for relievers

<t> I noticed yesterday that the "pitches per start" (P/GS) on players card are being computed in a weird way. But I'm not even sure it would be fixable. Just thought I would bring it up. Here's what looks like is happening.<br/>

RE: What are the 5 screens you visit most often?

<t> My input on this is that I already really like the current set up for navigating the game. From the 10 or so links across the bottom of the game screen I can get anywhere easily. The only screen that actually requires more than maybe 3-4 total clicks to get to is the "find free agent" screen ...

RE: 4 vs. 5 man rotations

<t> I don't know the answer to your question about whether AI will switch to a four-man rotation on it's own. But I have had similar situation where the 5'th starter almost never got a turn, because starters recovery times were too fast. The fix for this I found on this forum is changing the XML ...

How do your ball-flight locations look when you go to your edit ballpark screens. That's the first thing I would check. Maybe they got reset somehow.

RE: Fictional vs Real Players

<t> I have to agree with the fictional guys here. That is the only way I play. I use fictional players, smaller market cities like Tucson, Anchorage, Raleigh-Durham, etc. I downloaded logos and stadiums from padresfan's site and I created team names based on the logos I chose for each city. I play ...

I would like to add the "Tucson Drifters" to the team list. I have a GIF file for the logo from one of the logo packs that got posted here at PS.
