RE: EF II - Prokhorovka: The Ultimate Battle - Available Now in The Blitz WGC Scenario DB

Really great job. One minor thing though, the motorcycles for the German motorcycle battalions are all parked in same hex making them inaccessible due to maximum strength point limit on the hex.

RE: Polish OOB 1939 (Horse Artillery and Armored Trains)

Also on the subject of Armored trains, they did carry an infantry platoon of about 32 men, so the ability to carry passengers might be considered. For that an Armored train infantry platoon unit with the straight 3-4. created.

Polish OOB 1939 (Horse Artillery and Armored Trains)

<t> I have been a Campaign Series, or should say East Front/West Front game since the very beginning. <br/>
<br/>
As I communicated with Jason on FB, I found some issues with the Polish 1939 OOB, particularly with the Horse Artillery.<br/>
<br/>
In the Battalion list the Horse Artillery ...

RE: Soviet "super artillery"

<t> I played "Dead End on the Road to Prokhorovka" against a human opponent and my German Artillery was pretty leathal against stacked Soviet tanks.<br/>
On the other hand Soviets managed to get my Tiger with a indirect shot once but it was a Katusha salvo. Never played DC, so can't comment. Just ...

RE: Air Force support.

<t> Of course for a smaller scenarios that is true, but the game allows for a quite a large scenarios as well (Hell's Highway, Decision Day (All of D-Day) to name two massive ones). Those large historical are the ones I'm quite partial to. Of course you can assume the start of a game to be after the ...

Air Force support.

<t> I've been reading "D-Day" by Anthony Beavor, and one aspect of fighting which had quite an impact on events is the Allied use of Air power in close support, harasment, and heavy and medium bombing raids in preparation to an offensive. JTCS does have support for a close air support, but harasment ...

RE: New Screenshots for John Tiller’s Campaign Series

I didn't recognize the West Front screenshots, but my best guess is they are from one of the Market Garden scenarios.
It's from Counterattack at Arras (1940). I can't believe a I recognised it.

RE: Comparison to SPWAW

<t> I had SP and SP2. Loved them as they represented a vast improvement over anything available at the time. When East Front came out I must admit I was a bis scheptical at the first but a friend bought it and after one play I was hooked. It is amaising that after all these years and all these new ...

RE: Hello?????

<t> As much as I loved playing BG games, there is only so much you can play the same few battles. Has anyone considered, instead of re-releasing BG series, expanding the Campaign Series system to include Napoleonic/ACW with all the editing benefits it brings? BG battles could be used as scenarios ...
