FoF on Macbook with Bootcamp & Win 7

<t> I missed FoF so much since I gave my wife my Dell portable I bought Win 7 and loaded it with Boot Camp on my MacBook. But at first I couldn't get FoF to run - it was blowing out at end of initial load screen when blue bar was about done. Old post clued me in - I needed to load BOTH Flash and ...

RE: using codeweaver software to run FoF on Mac?

<t> Thanks, Gil. I loaded and tried it and it aborts at opening screen. Codeweaver is a cheaper way to go other than Boot Camp and etc. Basic savings is with it is at $39.95 you run Windows games without needing to load (and buy) a fresh copy of Win XP or whatever. I found some of my older wargames ...

RE: Not an April Fool's joke

<t> Hey, Gil, thanks to you and Eric and your untiring work years after the initial release. I am not even ready to get immersed in your new CoG release and really favor the Civil War period but plan on buying your new title (and anything else) as a measure of support to a really, really fine ...

<t> I am a loyal fan and customer of Matrix and have bought many games from them and will continue to do so. I also have always appreciated the support from many at Matrix to include Marc. <br/>

I guess I can excuse the response Marc gave (I do not care to repeat it by copying it) as him ...

RE: What a Fantastic Game

<r> Replying to Eric's question below: <br/>
<br/>
A game of strung together historical tactical battles using FoF engine and AI would have GREAT appeal to me and I am sure many others. Although there are many other games of historical Civil War battles out there, the appeal and unique factor here ...

historical team replay question

<t> loving the game - I am using 2007 and managing my home team, the Rockies. Wondering if late season pitching phenoms (like Morrales, Jimenez) will appear in my minor league rosters later on in season (they are not there now) for call-up as happened in real life. Thanks for any info as I figure ...

Question on Playing 2007 season from newbie

<t> Long time Diamond Mind player and I just got PS with the latest updates. I was hooked when I saw how 2007 stats were included with 1.70b. But as I start to replay with career mode picking 2007 season I see the standings from 2006? I finally get to use the Rockies with a winning season and I am ...

RE: Patch promised THIS month still coming?

thanks, Erik. Good game - shame if it and the engine faded. Perhaps a bit of you and Matrix games and your other developer's mentoring and leading with your excellent examples on consistent customer interaction and support would help them.

RE: Patch promised THIS month still coming?

<t> I agree, Jeff. You have been a most positive backer of the game - I wish that Hussar's attitude mirrored yours. As it is, they again promised a patch and announcement on new game and missed their date yet again with not even the barest post of explanation. Other companies are small as well and ...
