RE: Changing pitchers causing CTD

So far, so good. No CTD's since compressing the database.

My thanks to Henry296.

RE: Changing pitchers causing CTD

<t> No, but that's what I was trying to think of/find earlier. I just couldn't recall exactly what I was looking for nor where to find it within the game.<br/>
<br/>
I remembered some previous glitch that was resolved with that method & I'm trying it now.<br/>
<br/>
Thanks, and I'll post back ...

RE: Changing pitchers causing CTD

<t> Thanks PadresFan, the out of town info is an item I had missed apparently.<br/>
<br/>
I'm reasonable cool about a delay under that circumstance, I just felt like I was twisting in the wind a bit minus that info.<br/>

It has continued with 1.32, but so far after a couple of games tested ...

RE: Changing pitchers causing CTD

Bump ... although since it's at the top of the forum already it may not do any good.

C'mon Shaun, suggest something I should try, hook me up with a debug version so you can figure out what's going on, or something.

Interesting. I routinely sub my pitchers (I'm NOT a very patient manager), and I don't believe this has ever happened to me.<br/>

I'm using 1.31 also.<br/>

Changing pitchers causing CTD

<t> Problem I first saw develop with v1.29 has continued with v1.31.<br/>
<br/>
Changing pitchers while managing a game is causing a crash to desktop on about 80% of my games. <br/>
<br/>
It seems to be more common with certain relievers (I can't get one of my relievers in while managing a game ...

RE: Same Problem with 2007

<t> First thing that came to mind when you mentioned that "bonk" sound when trying to start a program, is that I hear that when I'm trying to start a program that's already running (although there's also an accompanying Windows error window that also comes up IIRC).<br/>
<br/>
I'm going to assume ...

RE: Sim Problem

<t> Same problem here as well. Intermittent since installing 1.27 patch, occurs every 2-3 games after my team's game in completed in manage mode but somewhere in the process of simming the rest of that day's games.<br/>
<br/>
FYI, I tried to install the debug .exe you linked above but while doing ...

RE: PureSim Baseball 2007 v1.20 Update Now Available!

Those who have had the "run but no see" issue like I did might doublecheck to make sure WinXP Service Pack 2 has been installed. That appears to have solved the problem for me, of course YMMV.

RE: Game won't start after a patch & a mod

<t> Found it ... after seeing this mentioned in the regular forum I decided to doublecheck on the WinXP updates. Turns out that Service Pack 2 had been downloaded (which I remembered) but had never been installed.<br/>
<br/>
So, after the loooong install for it, rebooted & tried again, PureSim ...

I can't duplicate this. Can you guys try a few things:<br/>
- Reboot <br/>
- Make sure you are up to date with the latest Windows updates<br/>
- If that doesn't work can you be sure to disable any antivirus software and launch the game again ...

Game won't start after a patch & a mod

<t> Not sure which of two events has created my problem but I'm hoping there'll be a solution.<br/>
<br/>
I go to grab the new patch (1.20) & install it, decide to grab one of the face packs from one of the third-party sites & install it too.<br/>
<br/>
I install the face pack just fine ...
