I was on the fence about this game, but a good and well-written manual would prob. had won me over. <br/>

RE: 2 questions...

Sigh...well I don't have the time or the will to read a poor copy of a manual for another game, guessing which rules are relevant for THIS PC-game.

Too bad,- no sale.

RE: 2 questions...

<t> Yes, I have looked at these rules that are for a completely different game, in a different time and for a board-game. <br/>
That is not the point.<br/>
<br/>
I have never bought a PC- or a board-game without having a look on the correct rules for that game first. Most publishers and Steam ...

Thanks,

I wish more publishers would realize, that releasing a manual will only create more interest and potential sales of a game.

Hex-grid modding

<r> <B><s></s>Hi,<e></e></B><br/>
<br/>
I would like to remove the hex-grid, or make it a lot less intrusive.<br/>
<br/>
In the boardgame CoH "Awakening the Bear" 2nd Ed. the grid is very discrete and only visible in the corners. <br/>
I'm sure the same could be done for this game. <br ...

2 questions...

Hi all

On the fence about this one,-

1: Is there a Manual pdf one can download before buying?

2: Can you remove the hex-grid on the map, or make it a bit more discrete?

Cheers,

RE: Beer & Pretzels ?

Please stop referring to the unit art as "cartoonish",- it's drawings, allright?

Most boardgames has used this kind of art for their counters and maps for years, and it was the designers intention to make a boardgame for the PC.

RE: Strategic transfer points: use it or lose it?

Think about it.

Strategic transfer is a simulation of your capacity to move troops by train in a certain time-frame.

Just because you don't use them for two days, does not give you twice as many trains four days after...

RE: No portraits

I have nothing against the portraits except that they are too big.

Would it be possible to shrink the portrait to 75% or maybe 50% of it's current size?

I think they were modded that way in DC 1...
