Position Reductions

Is there a way to adjust player's position i.e.(SS,3B,LF) fielding reductions within PureSim?? I know it can be done using the CE edition by opening up the database and adjusting the reductions there.

Does this bother anyone else??

<r> Anyone else see the problem with the AI having a 9 man pitching staff? This leads to overused relievers, which leads to overinflatted stats. I see the AI using the starters in relief too often. <br/>

roster management

<r> I am running V1.37 and after about 130 games into my association I noticed the Cubs roster. 16 position players and 9 pitchers. How does this happen? Isn't there AI to have at least 10 pitchers?? If not, shouldn't ther be?<br/>

pitch outs

What are the negative effects of pitching out frequently?? Could this lead to more walks???

I guess my point is why not pitch out every time a runner is on, if there are no noticable negative effects. Am I missing something?

RE: Baserunning

<t> Thanks for all the info. I have changed the settings in the XML file and it does help quite a bit. But am I wrong in thinking a runner with a speed rating of 42 should score from second on a single to right field with 2 outs?<br/>

Baserunning

<t> I am enjoying Puresim very much, but I am becoming frustrated by the poor baserunning when managing my team. Here are my examples:<br/>
<br/>
- Runners (with high speed ratings) rarely score from second base on a single to the OF with 2 outs. <br/>
- Runners on first not scoring on a hit and ...
