Was wondering how effective the AI is in handling only part of the Allies. I would like to control only US and USSR, will other Allies handle the military, research, diplomacy properly?

Was very disappointed in 1917, just another Hollywood artsy film masquerading as a war film. If you went into this movie knowing nothing of WWI you came out still knowing nothing of WWI.

Was wondering what everyone's preferred unit specialties are, I usually select Elite or Engineer but wondering if anyone has any input on these upgrades.

I lost all reinforcements in the pipeline after going to next turn on saved game.

Yeah as soon as I saw the mechanics of the partisans I went into editor and turned off Partisans in each country... Just a pain in the butt I don't need. The garrison mechanics of SC work much better for me.

Does the boxed version have a manual or is it just a box and a disc?

I didn't buy because I was waiting to see if they would follow up with more battles...they didn't so I haven't bought...simple as that.

Like to see one myself, SCWWI is getting a bit dated.

The book is literally the best rules/game guide I have ever seen. High quality combined with comprehensiveness. Only drawback is there is no index, which has sent me to the online version several times for the 'find' function.
