Yeah, thanks for the help and I'll try those guys. The game can get to the main menu. I have tried with pretty much everything off and all different modes. I used to be able to play part or one turn before it would flicker or crash or freeze. Bill

Renaming doesn't seem to work.

Unfortunately there are no newer sound card driver updates. I uninstalled the codecs I could find. I still have DivX. Let me know if you have anymore ideas. Thank you. Bill

I updated the video driver. Now when I start a game it goes black and the tool bar is blue. Here is the new Dxdiag. Thank you.

<t> The game has never really worked. All of the patches do not work. Turned off Sound. Video. Pretty much everything. The game Flashes in and out, graphics go bad, and then freexes or crashes. I have updated the driver for video card, but it is not a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated ...
