RE: Aaargh, didn't build supplies again!

We have a warning message come up if you try to exit the production phase with either unused production points or unused research points (you can't save them from turn to turn in AWD).

Yaay !

Now it happens also I forgot about supply points in the heat of the game so another warning could be "No supply points build this turn. Want to continue (Y/N)"<br/>

Well, my ideal preference would be to be ...

Aaargh, didn't build supplies again!

<t> I bet 9 out of 10 players have done this at least once...<br/>
<br/>
After carefully allocating all my builds and research, it is my habit to leave building supplies for the last part of the production phase, usually by clicking the "use all remaining production for supplies" button ...

RE: MWiF Map Review - America

<t> If the standard for depiction as a city is 100,000 population, Tallahassee (which you seem to have mispelled as Talhassee) certainly does not qualify. A quick google search says it had a population of about 32,000 in 1940. Yes, it is the state capital of Florida, but don't read much into that ...

RE: Bomber and NAV bombardment ATTACK PRIORITIES

<t> I also find it frustrating that the AI so often makes poor targeting choices. What I would like to see is an optional setting to simply allow a human player to pick what each unit fires at.<br/>
<br/>
Yes, I understand this would shift game balance to the attack. Yes, I understand it may not ...

Diplomacy and movement

<t> I have a few questions about how the new diplomacy rules will affect movement in AWD.<br/>
<br/>
1) Overflights. Will overflights of neutral countries still be flatly prohibited? It seems to me this should now be allowed, but the neutral would probably shift its diplomatic stance towards the ...

RE: Invulnerable battleships?

<t> Thanks for the clarification.&nbsp; I wondered why the game distinguished torpedo attack from ship attack, when they seemed to do the same thing.&nbsp; I did carefully consult the manual before my original post,&nbsp;but it&nbsp;doesn't seem to mention torpedo armor negation.&nbsp; After reading ...

Invulnerable battleships?

<t> As I understand the rules, heavy fleets are largely invulnerable to anything but the fire of another heavy fleet. Am I missing something?<br/>
<br/>
This mainly bothers me from the naval air point of view. Without a massive tech upgrade, it appears carrier airgroups cannot harm heavy fleets ...

Allow building new railroads

<r> In the "Hitler could have won" thread, TOCarroll asked:
<QUOTE><s>
</s>Will the new model of WAW have the ability to modify the supply chain at the expense of troops or research?<e>
</e></QUOTE>
I think the way to handle this, over land routes anyway, would be to simply allow ...
