RE: Operation Zitadelle 1943 TOAW Redux

<t> Ah so! I was wondering how these ended up in TOAW IV (I was never able to register for the beta). Nice job Silvanski! It's fun to see these east front games in the new version of TOAW, and excellent that you took the time to improve them well done. The designer notes could stand an update btw ...

Battle for Moscow 1.93 update

<t> Here is an updated build of "Battle for Moscow".<br/>
<br/>
This build learns from a playtest I conducted over the Christmas holidays. I played OKW/OKH against an elmer-controlled Stavka. My strategy was to find a winter line short of Moscow by early to mid-November 1941, and then to press a ...

RE: Battle for Moscow AAR/playtest thread

<t> Hmm let's see:<br/>
<br/>
- german formations had numerous erroneous formation supply ratings -- cleaned up and standardized<br/>
- various PO tweaks<br/>
- fiddled with soviet unit effectiveness, readiness and supply as well as replacement levels to try to find appropriate game balance ...

Battle for Moscow AAR/playtest thread

Below is the current (December 18/10) version of "Battle for Moscow 1941-1943", simulating a German "Moscow first" strategy pursued with determination. Looking for brave souls willing to playtest this build and to comment on play balance.

Because of how TOAW handles air units, is it a bad idea to mix different aircraft and types of aircraft? Since the air war is so abstract I've always thought it better to treat it as such and not go into too much detail.

You're busy with your project, too. In case you got the Lw/VVS Units, let us from STALAG13 have a look and we'll start integrating them, with your and Brian's kind permission, into Battles of Moscow 41-43.

Event inventory

<t> I've been experimenting with various event options during this process, and the result is a bit of a hodge-podge in the events (since some worked, and some didn't and were then turned off or over-written by new experiments). If you feel like digging into the events here is an inventory of ...
