RE: Tutorial '41 - Including 1st Step Slides [TOAW 3.4] - Now for TOAW 4!

Thanks dduckett.
I asked because I was worried to missing some features, while opening the scenario and not seeing the slides.

RE: Calculation for Unit Strengths

<r> Hi Bob.<br/>
Thanks, you are right. I simply summed the AP column, hence the 59 value. <br/>
I am starting to better understand the structure of the game, it is my first venture in operational level sims, so I was a bit confused about the different components, in particular the relationship ...

RE: Tutorial '41 - Including 1st Step Slides [TOAW 3.4] - Now for TOAW 4!

Hi all.
Sorry to ask, but I am new to TOAW, and even more to the Scenario design features. So, are the slides with explanations actually images externally superimposed to the game screenshots, or is there a way to have them directly showing in the game during play?
Thanks.

RE: Calculation for Unit Strengths

<r> Hi dduckett, thanks for the tip. I still have to dig into many options of TOAW, so this indication is very useful.<br/>
I added the option to see the "Attack" value, and made some more calculations.<br/>
The difference between AP and Attack is clear, as in the figure: <br/>
Attack = AP ...

The raw strengths can be gargantuan. They could never fit on the counter display. So, the values displayed on the counters are scaled relative to the largest strength in the game (which is set to about 31-32).

Calculation for Unit Strengths

<r> Hi all.<br/>
Being new to TOAW, I am trying to understand the underlying mechanisms of the game. I am still playing several times the Korea Tutorial, and I have a big doubt about the calculations relative to the Unit Strengths.<br/>
The counter of the selected regiment shows a Strength value ...

You can do a scenario dump.

Thanks a lot. Being very new to the game, and not having used the Editor before, I had to understand what is a "scenario dump", but I just tried, and it actually works perfectly for my ...

Is it possible to print (or copy) the briefing text?

<t> Hi all.<br/>
I am new to TOAW, trying to learn the basic features, and I started with the Korea tutorial. I would like to ask if there is a way to print (or copy into the clipboard) the text of the (quite long) scenario briefing, in order to better analyze it. <br/>
I tried directly from the ...
