RE: Production question

<t> You may also halt production of units by right clicking on them.&nbsp; This allows the other units to be produced.&nbsp; When you scroll over the unit with your cursor it will say whether it is being produced or on hold.&nbsp; Right click on the unit&nbsp;again to continue production of the unit ...

RE: Runtime error

<t> My runtime error occurred after I updated.&nbsp; My "fix" was to shut down my computer completely, not just hitting restart.&nbsp; I researched other runtime correction options, but they weren't helpful.&nbsp; So, every once in a while when I get a runtime error I shut my computer down once or ...

RE: Yugoslavia & State change

<t> In thinking more about this issue, it appears that Germany stands a good chance of triggering a State change for Spain if it captures Gibralter and Portugal,&nbsp;provided Portugal is leaning or pro-Allied or joins the Allies.&nbsp; Same for Japan for Siam if Japan captures Malaya and Rangoon ...

RE: Yugoslavia & State change

<t> I know you're right about Leningrad and Finland, which means I get an "F" in reading comprehension for not equating it to Kiev and Rumania. 10.4.2, concerning Attacking a Rival Neighbor, starts, "When a player attacks a neutral that is Pro- or Leaning to their opponent, then any adjacent neutral ...

RE: Yugoslavia & State change

Thank you.&nbsp; I didn't realize that Russia was a "neutral" that triggered a check for a State change.&nbsp; Guess I should prepare for war with Rumania regardless, though Germany will not be able to pre-position an attack force for the first turn of its invasion.

Yugoslavia & State change

<t> I'm playing a PBEM game as Russia. Germany attacked Yugoslavia while it was balanced, i.e. before the coup event that would have made Yogoslavia lean towards the Allies. As a consequence, Hungary, Rumania and Bulgaria did not offer to join Germany per Rule 10.4.2., which, as I understand it ...

RE: Runtime error

Never mind, I kept trying and the game finally let me play my turn. However, I don't know why this happened.

Runtime error

<t> I'm playing a PBEM game as the USSR. All players are using 1.011. My OS is Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (2002). During the third turn, while playing the USSR, I open my turn, strategically move a unit, after which I get a "runtime error." The dialog box reads, "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime ...

RE: When to attack with Japan?

<t> There are a lot of posts on Japan. Search beyond the 180 day limit to read some great ideas. That being said, Japan is best served by expanding no later than Fall 1941. At that time Japan has lost its three free resource points from the US; therefore, it's time to attack Russia or take the ...

RE: Why AA over fighters?

<t> Great post. Thank you. I game played several options against human players. With the caveat that your choices should be flexible to best serve your strategy, I think the following generally applies:<br/>
<br/>
China should build AA and never build fighters until the end of the war when the ...

RE: Why AA over fighters?

<t> Applying your Russian example to a surrounded Great Britain facing an imminent bomber attack and probable invasion, would I be better off (a) building only AA, while improving its attack or (b) building fighters, and improving their attack and their range to two? I like that AA targets bombers ...

Why AA over fighters?

<t> Why AA over fighters? I've read a lot of strategy ideas that suggest AA over fighters? It seems the Wallies should opt for fighters for a lot of reasons: op fire, sweeping out the German airforce, covering fleets and just to trade losses. So should the Germans until they are solely on the ...
