Re: The Chosen, Last Supper, season #5 at the theaters

My wife and I went to all three shows in the theaters this season. IMO, season 5 has been The Chosen best season. I was watching a video with Calls Jenkins where he stated they have more projects in the plans than just The Chosen ....

Thanks all for the detailed answers to the questions! Does anyone know off hand when the E class appears with the radar and better DC throwers....? I'd like to know for future reference. Have a great day all!

Super E's. Wow.......

The late war super E's that I've seen others write about are devastating. My unscientific study says that they perform better than USN or RN ASW at half or sometimes less than the Allied TF size. (most of the encounters are in deep blue ocean.)

Questions are,

1. Has this been fixed with later ...

Re: having trouble with air transport

I'm wondering if the range of 11 is being outside the normal operating range of the C-47 is the culprit of not transporting the unit?

True. Every base gives the players opportunity to invade or defend, there's nothing wrong with having options. This isn't an average wargame. :)

Re: What to do with Dec 7 Survivor BBs

I'm more conservative than most in my moving of ships with high flotation damage '50' is just too aggressive for me. Yeah if everything goes well , you're good but what I like to do is give me some leeway, incase things don't. I prefer to be in the 20s...if not the closer the better. I had a big ...

Been playing a version of this game since Uncommon Valor and watched a few of your videos and found them very well done, anyone just starting out will get a leg up from watching.

AH, the following TFs were acting as a ball and chain on that TF it was trying to both dash in and bring the followers with it! Bad Joss!

Re: Bombardment question?

You also need to have good DL on the target ON THE NIGHT of the bombardment, which means Patrols/FPs reconning the island. And if the weather is really bad, the die roll will be biased toward the TF not seeing enough navigation points to start their bombardment. You could try sending in a lower ...

Re: Bombardment question?

Very strange happenings.... Even when I set to return to Wake the TF only retreated 1 hex, luckily for me I only moved the carriers three hexes so the TF was still under the air umbrella. Only when I created a new TF from the same ships did it start responding to orders and move accordingly.

The tf ...

Bombardment question?

Crazy question as long as I've played this game this is the first time it happened. Both Saipan and Tinian have been reconned by both land based and sea air and two different bombardment task forces have hit both Tinian and Saipan but for some reason this TF would not bombard. I figured I messed up ...

Re: Is there a resource that shows where all the LCUs went historically?

I'd guess quite a few players like to use troops in their theater of operation but unless you are going to attempt to simulate the same exact movements and action things are going to change & could change quickly.

Re: Clemson DD conversion t oDE

Thanks for the replies all. Taking in your thoughts, I believe the APDs are the way to go as I'd get more multi purpose and more effective use out of them. This is important as we have to make due through 1942.

My standard bombardment is 1,2 or 3 days for atolls (depending on what's there ...
