RE: Extremely large .rep file being created?

<r> Now this is really strange. No matter what I do for my turn when I hit the end turn button the game makes a 4mb+ .rep file which my opponent says he can not open. I've tired several times and even when I open the game, do nothing and hit the end turn button right away I still get stuck with this ...

Extremely large .rep file being created?

<r> While playing a pbem game against Jonreb and Texas I have encountered a problem where my opponent is unable to load the files I send him. I fix this by retaking my turn but this last time I have noticed that the .rep file I zipped was 4mb which is several times the magnitude of a normal .rep ...

RE: PBEM save question

It works and saves it into the pbem folder.&nbsp; You can also save it under any name you like and when you re-open it and end your turn the game will automatically rename it back to the original name such as "elmo3sgame_0_USA"

RE: ShootMe(CSA) vs JonReb(USA) : For the South!

<r> Again, not a lot of pictures this turn because winter has prevented any troops from moving and Kentucky still sits on the fence. I promoted Hardee because he looks like a good division commander and can teach them diggers which will help in the defence of union forces.<br/>

RE: are banks worth the money?

No&nbsp; It's counting the money I have right now.&nbsp; I bought a university in one city just to see what happens and my bank intrested dropped to 0.&nbsp; I do belive banks count per month instead of per turn.

RE: are banks worth the money?

We're only in Jan 82 so I dont believe he has Counterfeiting yet.&nbsp; That's strange that its only 1% a month, every 2 turns&nbsp;when everything else gives you resources on turn.

RE: are banks worth the money?

<t> Can someone check to see if banks are working correctly. If I end my turn as the CSA with 250 gold and with 4 banks. On my next turn the nation screen said I will only obtain 5 gold from bank intrest. By my math at 1% per bank I should have got 8 gold since each bank gives out 1% of every 100 ...

RE: ShootMe(CSA) vs JonReb(USA) : For the South!

<r> Ft. Monroe has fallen to my troops with almost Pathetic ease. I was quite surprised about that since the fort starts the game with a good gun and some nice abilitys. It will prove usefull defending my cities now as well as letting the teritory produce two gold a turn.<br/>
