Multiplayer Playback

<t> First, let me say that Panzer Corps is a terrific game! Well done. <br/>
My friend and I have just started playing multi-player, and all is working well except that after the first turn, we no longer get a replay of our opponent's move before beginning our own turn. This is obviously very ...

RE: Matrix Fantasy Baseball Leagues are UP!!!!

<t> No problem - except I'll be away next weekend. I believe that the system will default to my edited rankings in a live draft - correct? I'm hoping we can get some more guys before next weekend (I signed up in all three leagues) - the leagues are light this year. Personally, I find fantasy ...

RE: Matrix Fantasy Baseball Leagues are UP!!!!

<t> Come on guys - we need one more team for the Weekly League to make 12. And the other two leagues definitely need some&nbsp;more participation. &nbsp;<br/>
Paul, is there a minimum number of teams needed to launch a league? My experience is that you need at least 8 teams to make it interesting ...

RE: Matrix Fantasy Baseball Leagues are UP!!!!

<t> The Cows franchise is all signed up. Two leagues this year - what the Hell, I'm going for it! Good luck to everyone and spread the word so we can get more teams to join. This is a generous and fun activity run by Mr. Vebber and Matrix Games. Thanks for doing it. And as far as I'm concerned ...

RE: What music are you listening to now?

<t> I just got the&nbsp;new CD from Airbourne, an Australian-based rock band. These guys can really do old time, straight-on rock n' roll. Glad to hear a band that finally just plays balls-out rock without all the pop chrome. They're kind of a cross between AC/DC and Jet. Anybody else listening to ...

RE: Cloverfields

<t> I agree with the observations above. I appreciated the movie more after I got out of the theater and thought about it for awhile. While in the theater, I was wrestling with myself to keep from running to the bathroom! It is an experience. To make it worse, we were in the SECOND ROW because of ...

RE: World War One Mod

<t> Count me in for moral support. I'm not talented enough to do any actual modding, but I would pay cash for a well-made World War I mod! My friend and I play this game by PBEM addictively, we sometimes have three games going on simultaneously. During our last battle (a scenario with Hungarians ...

RE: Any news about this game?

<t> Just because I'm playing Guns of August, Tiller's Campaign Series and Armageddon Empires does not mean I've forgotten about this upcoming gem! How's it coming along? This is on my "must buy" list as soon as it's available. How in God's name I find the time to play these games is beyond me ...

RE: Thanks Frank

<t> Ditto on all the above comments, Frank. This game is just wonderful. My only regret is that I haven't had the time yet to really dig into it yet, but I'll make some time real soon. Thank God we have an intelligent, fun game that's NOT WWII or American Civil War. This period has been so ...

I was getting worried because there was no activity here for quite awhile. Now I'm drooling on my desk! Great work. I'm really looking forward to this game - keep the updates coming.

RE: Small teaser screenshot!

<t> WOW! That shot looks terrific. I'm really looking forward to the improved version of this game. I have the original and as much as I like it, it is definitely frustrating to play sometimes. We need a good, first-class tactical treatment of the Seven Years War with all the necessary "pomp and ...

RE: Theme of our next game

<t> Absolutely - Frederick the Great (SPI and AH versions) is one of my all-time favorite games. It's not only a great game but also gave you a feel for that period of military history and what Frederick really had to deal with. An absolute nail-biter. It's right up there with Paths of Glory and ...

RE: Theme of our next game

Gotta go with Freddie. I think the Seven Year War is grossly overlooked and this engine seems well suited to recreate the highly tense strategic situation as well as the colorful and bloody set-piece battles.
