A new version of FoF was released earlier this year. Uninstall your current game and reinstall using the new installer for the game. I did and it works fine without Flash.

Yes, the 2021 patch removes the need for Flash to run the main menu videos. The game runs just fine for me.

I too get that error when I start the game after I turn on or reboot my computer. Cancelling and restarting the game always works though.

I got exactly that after installing the core, patch and lastly the polygon updates.

A reinstall, reapply of the patch and the full infantry squad mod still has the game crashing on some scenarios. It would have been nice to been able to see all members of the squad, but oh well...still a great game.

Yes, I did get the mod from the second page and I installed it by overwriting the vanilla files after I installed the latest patch. I'm going to uninstall the game again and reinstall it and see what happens.

I think I found the reason for both issues. I was using sztartur's full infantry mod. I reverted back to the vanilla infantry xml files and both issues disappeared including the "Their Toughest Battle" crash.
