Well, I finally got the package and I am pleased, what a book!  Very pleasing - the damn thing weighs a ton.
 
Anyway, I don't often spend a lot of time searching threads and reading others posts so, I appreciate your response. 

I ordered this game on 12/26 and purchased the digital down load and hard copy. I still have not received my hard copy.

Any thoughts? I would really like to see the manual.

My wife about beat me silly when I told her how much it cost for the upgrade! Bruises do heal though.

My father-in-law is a huge civil war buff and probably has a collection of cw antiques worth in the tens of thousands of dollars.

The problem is, he only uses an Apple. Will this game work on an Apple?

That RAM is expensive stuff! But I don't care, my computer is much, much faster now. And the game works!

Now I just have to figure out how to play it!

I will pick up of 1GB RAM today and install; hopefully, this solves the problem. The wait is killing me!

Can it be used or do I have to make some upgrades. I am not the best with computer. It is a HP laptop so, are upgrades easy enough or I will I need professional intervention?
