RE: Finding the folder in windows 7

When you first install the game the default folder is installed under C:/Matrix Games/John Tiller Campaign Series and not under
C:/Program Files/Matrix Games/John Tiller Campaign Series.
I hope that helps you

RE: New Policy Please

<t> I think most of us thank Matrix and Jason for there efforts in developing this game[&o].<br/>
The majority have no problem conforming to the above forum rules <br/>
For those who think the opposite and believe there is a better product elsewhere,<br/>
then I would suggest they do us a favour ...

RE: Questions for Jason

<t> Trouble is with, "I mainly only play the Germans," is they lost the war with Russia and the Allies, yet you still think you can win it so everything you don't agree with in PC Wargames then must be wrong.<br/>
My experience is German artillery is just as effective as Russian artillery and that ...

RE: PBEM without a direct connection

You could always download the zip files to your computer with the net connection. Then tranfer them to a memory stick and then tranfer them to the computer that has the game installed

RE: Problems with bte/zip files + JTCS and/or Windows 7?

<t> You could try downloading WinRAR from the net, it's a free compression program and try that to zip your files up.<br/>
I'm not sure if it will work with Windows 7 but it works with Vista so I imagine it does as most things do.<br/>
I think there may also be a problem with using JTCS with ...

RE: T 34 M43 firepoint question

<t> I agree with Big Ivan, it never ceases to amaze me how often many wargamers can always find a little something extra to add to games to give the Germans an advantage. Rarely do you see the same input put into the Russian side of the game and often flaws in the German side are overlooked.<br ...

RE: Ok you know there's a problem....

<t> A long way from invincible the MkIV and it doesn't necessarily mean they've it's been destroyed, the wreck represents just put out of action.<br/>
That's something the 75mm was quite capable of doing<br/>
Many tanks were recoverable and repairable depending on who owned the battlefield in at ...

RE: 1.03 disappointing....Jason

<t> It's more than just my opinion but artillery was pretty effective against tanks you just have to read history books to see that. <br/>
Previous versions of JTCS didn't do it justice but in JT's HPS PzC's things are very different, indirect fire often wrecks tanks. <br/>
I'm just reading yet ...

RE: What is and what is not.....

<t> An interesting debate with a touch of humor [:)]<br/>
Don't be downhearted anyone if your ideas are rejected, I think it's only by this method some good improvements are being made to the game.<br/>
But unless we have ideas nothing will change, the thing that matters is we strive to improve ...

RE: Vista Problem AT Ranges

<t> Thanks Jason, <br/>
I wasn't doing things correctly with the patch, I was unzipping it straight into the CS Directory, instead of running it as I should have done as a Setup file. Everything now appears to be working fine and hopefully Vista will now be no problem.<br/>
Cheers,<br/>

Vista Problem AT Ranges

<t> I'm hoping someone can help me with this annoying problem<br/>
I think I have installed the game correctly and patched it with 1.02.<br/>
Things seemed to be working correctly until I came to fire at an Hard Target with Panther Tanks. It told me that I had insufficient range.<br/>
I then ...
