As for console games...it's what I call the "twitch" factor. These 4-5 year olds have faster finger reflexes than mankind has ever seen. <e>[/quote]</e></QUOTE>

RE: Siberian Reinforcements

Just because Zhukov didn't use them as well as we can doesn't mean we shouldn't get 'em. ;)

RE: That's what sub-mods are for

Meh, that's too bad to hear. This was the reason I stopped playing CC3 and went back to CC2. I enjoy infantry combat with limited support, just a personal preference.

RE: Question re old CC mods and why should I buy?

<r> As much as I'd enjoy playing the latest and greatest games that push the envelope, I suppose I've lost some of my gaming steam over the years. Take Crysis for example. The game looks amazing and while I would love to play it (assuming it plays as good as it looks), I just don't have it in me to ...

RE: Question re old CC mods and why should I buy?

<r> Yes, while I would love to see CC2 updated, in reality the core game was/is fun enough to not warrant the kind of changes we're seeing with CC3. If I could actually find my CC2 disk I would re-install it. So I don't think CC2 would of had enough "updates" to it to warrant a price tag ...

RE: Release Date

<t> Without reading too much into that statement, I'd imagine that means it went GOLD or is nearing GOLD. At the end of development, the game is usually passed off to the publisher in a series of "release candidates" until the publisher deems it "ready" and is sent to manufacturing. At my old ...

RE: Question re old CC mods and why should I buy?

<r> I was a huge CC2 fan, definitely one of my all-time favorite games. I was disappointed in CC3 though, but I didn't try out any of the mods either (shows how long I played it before going back to CC2!). The campaign didn't hold a candle to CC2's, and felt the gameplay was unbalanced ...

RE: CC2 Remake

<t> CC2 was definitely my favorite of the series, particularly the grand campaign and carry-over system. It was great holding onto locations for as long as possible with limited reinforcements. I didn't care for CC3 when it came out as I felt the campaign system just didn't live up to ...

RE: Special Limited Time Offer to Upgrade 'For Liberty!'

<t> Hmm, I just happened to check this forum out to find out about this. I was a buyer of FL from Battlefront and never would have known about this had I not come in here, probably would be a good idea to send e-mails out to all those who purchased this from Battlefront. Nevertheless, it ...
