My problem was in the SB Audigy EAX control panel....had to turn off the "Enable Audio Effects".</t>

But I slid it left anyway, quit, restarted, played...no sound ( as I expected), reset it to the right max, quit, restarted, played and no sound....<br/>

Same with the video clips.....turned it off...quit, restarted, turned it on ...
