RE: Do you play detailed battles?

I would play detailed if there was a prebattle set up phase. Having my divisions scattered all over just drives me nuts.

RE: Expanding the AOP's capacity?

I agree with Erik. One large army but you can delay out the arrival times of the divisions in HW like what happened many times in the real war.

RE: Army with 36 Brigades? (US Side)

<t> Thanks TwoTribes, you're exactly right. I used the forum search but couldn't find the dev post where they explained it.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
So I looked through the files again&nbsp;and found it. There's an acwplayers.txt in the scenario folder that you need to change. I&nbsp;had only changed the ...

RE: Container Movement Rates

<t> In my current game the AI (CSA)&nbsp;has 3 army groups that travel together between&nbsp;Richmond and Memphis attacking my&nbsp;3 seperate armies (1 in&nbsp;VA,&nbsp;1 in Kentucky and&nbsp;1&nbsp;west of the Mississippi)&nbsp;as I advance south. It's an interesting strategy&nbsp;where they never ...

RE: Army with 36 Brigades? (US Side)

<t> How does one change this? Or more specifically how does one allow an Army to hold more Corps and divisions.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
I changed the "MaxContainer0--armies" in acwplayers.txt to 70 to no effect.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
Having the Army of the Potomac with just&nbsp;3 corps&nbsp;drives me nuts ...

RE: Siege casualties

<t> Yeah I expected that in battle. That's true my&nbsp;western troops are all around ~2.0 quality. I figured a siege would has less conflict than a battle. now that I think about it,&nbsp;I could see&nbsp;high quality troops sallying forth and ruining a too small besieging force.&nbsp;Thanks Gil ...

RE: Siege casualties

<t> <br/>
It's early war and I'm using real basic infantry to siege with. No engineers or siege guns. I spend all my money in the east mostly. <br/>
<br/>
I've done 5 or 6 regular sieges so far all with around 20k infantry armed w/Minies or Springfields versus ~10k rebels. Results are a total ...

Siege casualties

<t> <br/>
Howdy, <br/>
<br/>
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster... Anyways I'm a Union player and so far I've been really bogged down by sieges in the west. Maybe I'm not building my western armies up enough but it seems like sieges are way too deadly. I'm sieging in Kentucky and Tennessee ...
