RE: 1.02j feedback

<t> I would say the general consensus is to add/substract pp from each player involved in the battle based on the proportion of corps involved in the battle within each side, with the total number of PP awarded to the winning SIDE or taken from the losing SIDE (note, not player, but side) never to e...

RE: anyone else about read to give up??????

<t> I never said that the game was advertised correctly, I am just saying is that the reality is the AI will never be good or really up to par. It will always be a cake walk, its just too complex, especially the diplomacy and aspects of the combat system... I think most experienced players would agr...

RE: anyone else about read to give up??????

<t> yah, if you are a huge game publisher, and come out with a game like CIV, sure you can spend the time and resources on an ai... matrix is not such a publisher...it does what it can, but it would take a whole lot more to program an ai which was even close to good for a game like this one...<br/> ...

RE: anyone else about read to give up??????

<t> This game is was never about the AI. I really dont understand why people keep complaining about it. A game this complicated and nuanced, you cant really make an AI that is challenging in any meaningful way. Those have played EiA as a boardgame know this. So all this bitching about AI is total no...

Bresh,

Here are some of the "H" fixes that did not make it into the "J" release notes.

What Marshall said is that these fixes were not in the release nots, NOT that they were not fixed....

RE: Ally call during an enforced peace ?!

Dave_T

It would help if you read the rules and actually knew what you were talking about, both in the original boardgame and now in computer EiA, you could not call an ally to war if they had an enforced peace with the war prospect.
