In the first post you mention that this mod should be compatible with AI mods, does that mean I can install the AI Improvement Mod as well as this one?

Thanks for making a great mod!

One click mod installs

<r> Just to let Matrix Games forum members know that I have created one click installs for a number of mods. To install them all you need to do is download the file to your game directory and double click it. You still need to extract system.xbg but Phoenix-D has made an easy installer to do that ...

RE: MODing

That would be very useful Texashawk. Especially if you post about doing it on the official forums so others can include your work in their mods.

RE: Sign Here if you Want DEATH!

<t> From what I have read (I am sleepy so this may be inaccurate [;)]), if you retreat then all dead soldiers are lost, if you lose then all dead soldiers are lost. The only way they can be recovered is if you win the mission, if that is the case the troops have plenty of time to go back and collect ...

RE: Sign Here if you Want DEATH!

<t> If you don't like it then fairs fair. But I don't think it is right to rubbish it. Troopers can get hit by rockets, grenades, etc and survive so I do not see why if they have good head armour they can't recover some brain. Just like a black box in an aeroplane, if there is something small and ...

RE: Question for David Heath

<r> Latest info is that when your soldiers die in battle the armour preserves the brain. Then when the body is returned to base they grow a new body and transplant the brain into it. Because they need the body if you lose the mission all bodies that died are lost forever.<br/>

RE: Info from russia

<t> My guess is that they have technology to bring people back from what was previously thought of as death but they can only do that if they have the bodies. If you lose everyone then they can't get the bodies back so all die.<br/>

RE: UFO Extraterrestrials Scores 4.25/5 on Gamepro.com!

<r> I have no problem with people wanting the soldiers to be able to die. What I don't understand is some peoples view that this will make the tactical game trivial. Even the review which had such a problem with no deaths said the game has "excellent turn-based combat." and that "X-COM veterans and ...
