Also, I've discovered that if the mouse cursor is on or near the edge of the screen you are panning towards, you'll stop panning when the mouse pointer hits the edge of the screen.

I would think a fighter blowing up in the flight bay would cause... problems...&nbsp; Of course, probably not as much as an attack plane dropping bombs in the flight bay, but six of one half dozen of the other, I suppose.
