RE: 2009 replay

Regarding the sked: it is my basic understanding that unless you make a schedule yourself, you play the same one over and over again.

Making the schedule is not difficult, just tedious. I am pressed for time now but can provide instructions later, if you are interested.

<br/>
For me, the money is not the issue. As much love as there is for the game by both creator and users, this is still a business and I can respect that. I will just use the criteria I use for other ...

RE: Poll Question: Expanded Team Results

I would. I find myself wanting constantly to look back and see how I did against my play off opponent.

RE: Top 3 Things I Do After A New Update

You know, I have Altecs also. I may have to give that a go. Never really played with the sound files, I have been pre-occupied modifying schedules.

I just play with the volume off. Yes, it is like killing roaches with a flamethrower but it has the merit of only one button to push....

RE: Schedule questions psc format

<t> I have modified the existing psc file and it imported without a hitch. I love the fact a amateur like me can tweak the game to what I need.<br/>
<br/>
I do have one last unresolved question: it is about the game id: is it a counter? If so, does it only count the regular season?<br/>

Schedule questions psc format

<t> OK, I have some questions about the schedule formatting. I am sorry, but I can't let it go.<br/>
<br/>
I exported the current schedule and took a look at it. <br/>

Is the "game id" a counter of the games played? In 29756,11,12,3,25, is the 29756 the 29,756th game played in my ...

RE: Player positions and contracts

The only way I have found to do it is to change the player card.&nbsp; I have done it a couple of times.&nbsp; There is still a learning curve but at least the change sticks.

RE: v1.85 Officially Released!

Quick question: are OOTP format schedules (I use txt formats) no longer accepted? I completed spring training and went to add the 2010 schedule (for use as my 2020 campaign). When I tried to import schedule, the only file option is psc files.

I use them only because it is the only tool that shows the grind of the season and the growth of the rookies.

<t> I tried downloading the update you suggested and it did nto work. I do not have VB6 so it did not update. <br/>
<br/>
What I ended up doing was uninstalling, turning off UAC and then a fresh install. That did the trick, the game loaded without incident.<br/>

<t> I have created a whole bunch of schedules in OOTP text format. I actually have them up to 2009. They are on Crash Davis' site. <br/>

I save them in the retrosheet folder. To use them, after spring training but before you start the regular season, go to options. Select import schedule ...

I tried as you suggested and still get the same run time error. Is there a plan B or am I not destined to play in Vista?

Thanks
